Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus - Birthday Ranunculus

Hello there!

Here is a new card using for the umpteenth time this beautifdul stamp set from SSS. I love it so much I always come back to it! Again, trying a new color combo by adding blue to my favorite ink colors.

I first white heat embossed the flowers on watercolor paper, then I painted them using distress inks and finally cut a rectangle in the pattern I had just created.

I die cut the happy birthday sentiment one time in my pattern paper and also three times in white cardstock. I adhered my pattern paper on some grey paper, glued the three white sentiments together, glued my pattern paper sentiment on top and then adhered everything in place.

Finally I glued in place the little bits of pattern paper (into the y or the b for example), and added some sequins to finish the card.

Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers - Blue Blooms

Hello there!

Back to watercoloring, my favorite! I really love the embossing resist technique. It's quick and easy and the colors stay into the lines!

Started by white heat emboss the images and then colored them.

For this card, I wanted something different. I usually use pink, reds or yellows for flowers but this time I went for blues and kaki, which I think look pretty good! :-)

Once dry, I die cut a rectangle to kind of frame my flowers, and adhered my pannel on some grey dark grey cardstock.

Added my sentiment using black ink, sprayed some gold ink and glued clear droplets to finish the card.

Avery Elle Tweet Tweet - Tropical birdies

Hello there!

Here is a new card using this cute little guys! They're so fun and any color combo is possible, there's no limit!

I started with my background. I wanted a bright and kind of fluffly sky so I die cut a cloud border in some random paper to make a stencil and applied distress ink to form the clouds, repeating the same thing up to the top. And I die cut a rectangle in the cloud pattern I had just created.

Then I stamped with black ink all the images I needed to build my scene and colored them with copic markers. Again, I'm not very comfortable with copic markers but I think my little birds look cute anyway! :-) Applied some glossy accents on their beak and draw white dots on their belly.

Glued the branches with some strong glue and adhered the birds on top with 1mm foam dots. And added some sequins to finish the card.

Hello there!

Here is a card I made to celebrate the National Ice Cream Day. Again with my favorite technique: heat embossing + watercolors.

First white heat embossed the popsicles on watercolor paper and framed them with a scalloped die. Rainbow colored the images with distress inks and added coordinated enamel dots.

Adhered my watercolor paper on a cute polka dot paper, and added the die cut word celebrate.

And finally stamped my sentiment with black ink inside the card.

Lawn Fawn Life is Good - Summer card

Hello there!

Had a lot of fun making this summer card! This set from Lawn Fawn is really cute! I'm not very comfortable with copic markers, but I think it's not that bad!

I first die cut three rectangles in watercolor paper. I kept one to make the sky and cut the other two to make the sea and the sand. Colored each piece with distress inks and added some water drops.

I stamped all the images with black dye ink and colored them with copic markers, trying as much as I could to stay into the lines! Then I die cut everything with my big shot and adhered the pieces onto my beach scene.

I stamped some birds and added some clear droplets to finish the card.

Simon Says Stamp - Summer Wreaths

Hello there!

Here are two cards simply made by stamping and coloring but I really enjoyed created them.

For the one on the left I traced a circle with a pencil and stamped the images all around the line. And for the one on the right I traced three different circles: small, medium and large, and stamped the images starting from the larger one to the small one in the middle.

Used copic markers to color them. Added glitter on the pink flowers and glossy accents on the bubbles and finally glued some sequins here and there.

Lawn Fawn - Summer card

Hello there!

Something a little bit different as I didn't use distress inks on this card! I wanted to use my copic markers in a simple way so there is no shading.

I first draw a circle with a pencil using a cup. Then I stamped different images in the circle with black ink and colored them with copic markers. Added a little bit of glitter on the seashells and starfish.

Heat embossed my sentiment with gold embossing powder. And then, to stick to my beachy summer theme I glued a bunch of clear droplets to make the illusion of water drops on my paper.

Altenew - Birthday card

Hello there!

Had so much with these cute cupcake stamps. When I saw them, I immediatly thought about the boutique Magnolia Bakery in New York City and decided to build an awning like I did for my three little ice cream card.

First I white heat embossed the cupcakes on watercolor paper. Decided to stamp them up and down to add some fun, and colored them with ditress inks. I cut a rectangle and then a scalloped border in the cupcake pattern to create my awning.

Adhered my awning on white paper. Then I die cut the word celebrate and heat embossed my sentiment with gold embossing powder. Added gold glitter on the pink cupcakes, and some sequins to finish my card.

Avery Elle - Rainbow birds

Hello there!

I've been seing a lot of rainbow themed cards lately, so I wanted to give it a try too! So here is a card I made using the fun Tweet Tweet stamp set by Avery Elle.

I heat embossed the birds with translucent powder, then I colored them using distress inks. It was so much fun making them in rainbow colors, I think they're very cute!

On each one I added a dot of black gel pen to make their eye pop a little more, and also added some  clear glitter to make their little belly shine!

Glued the watercolor paper on some pretty black & white paper and glued everything on a green cardstock. Then I added some sequins to finish the card.
