Summer Card Series - Little break in the city - Pop-Up Card

Hey there!

Here is the second card I've made using the Cool Treats digital stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas. When I saw it, I knew I wanted to create a pop-up card using these cuties!

I first started by coloring my images using my alcohol markers. I wanted the whole project to be well coordinated so I chose a main color (aqua/teal) as a main theme. I also used the same colors for the ice creams as the ones I had used on the "Smile" card.

I picked three different pattern papers to build the background and floor of my pop-up card: clouds for the sky (obviously ^^), buildings to create a skyline, and bricks for the floor.

I used my images as guides to mark the places to create the pop-ups, cut them using a cutter, and attached my images using liquid glue.

I rounded the corners and started to decorate the outside of the card. For that, I die cut a stitched scallop rectangle in some polka dot paper, tied a bow around the card so it could stay closed and attached one last image with my sentiment on top of it.
