Craftin Desert Divas - Thankful for you

Hey there,

Today I'm sharing with you a card I've made using a new stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas called "Timber" and a new die from the "Fall Border" die set. I absolutely love this new die because you can use it for each season so it's perfect! And look at these cuties...

I first started by die cutting a circle in the middle of a wood textured cardstock. I taped at the back the two pieces and die cut the fence from white cardstock. I decided later that I wanted my fence to match the wood textures cardstock so I die cut it from that paper.

Then I worked on my background. I die cut a hill border (that I didn't use in the end) and a tree border. I colored this tree border using distress inks for the ground and my zig markers for the trees. And for the sky I used a pale yellow ink and a pale green ink.

I attached the tree border to the background and glued the fence at the back of the wood textured panel. Then I colored my images using alcohol markers, fussy cut and attached them using foam squares.

I added some sequins here and there, and attached my sentiment to finish the card.
