Lawn Fawn - Interactive Snowball Fight

Hello there,

I was on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel & Blog this week with this holiday card showcasing the adorable Snowball Fight stamp set. I've made it interactive using the Reveal Wheel dies, and had a lot of fun creating this bright pink winter landscape.

I started off by cutting a Reveal Wheel panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock which I divided it into three sections: the sky on the upper part and two snowy hills on the lower half. I created the hills using a Hillside stencil along with spun sugar and kitsch flamingo oxide inks, and then the sky using kitsch flamingo, picked raspberry and seedless preserves oxide inks. On the sky, I splattered water that I dried using a paper towel. I also mixed some picked raspberry and seedless preserves oxide inks with water, and used a slim brush to add more splatters to my sky. Next I mixed some spun sugar oxide ink with water and added splatters on the snowy hills. I mixed some copic opaque white ink and some Liquid Stardust with water, and added even more splatters all over my panel.

I set my panel aside to dry, and stamped all my images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Jet Black ink. I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my graph'it brush markers.

Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used:  Snowball Fight - wall, mice, snowballs, piles of snow, snowflakes, small sentiment  Yeti Or Not - Christmas tree, tree  Winter Village - pile of snow, tree  All The Speech Bubbles - speech bubbles  Simply Celebrate Winter Critters Add-On - small sentiment.

Next I cut a Simple Wavy Banner out of Textured Canvas Pink cardstock, white heat embossed my "Have a very cool Christmas" from Penguin Party on the banner, set it aside for later, and then assembled my Reveal Wheel panel. Please check the process video down below to watch that part.

Once my interactive panel was complete, I attached it to a Pixie Dust Outside In Stitched Rectangle panel, and then to a 6x6 Candy Cane Lane Large Stitched Rectangle panel using liquid glue. I cut another Simple Wavy Banner out of Holographic cardstock that I stuck at the back of the pink banner. I attached my banner at the bottom of my panel using 1mm foam squares, and then all the images.

Next I added the last details: I applied a little bit of liquid glue to the trees tops, wall, snow piles and snow mouse, and sprinkled Prisma glitter on those places to make them sparkle on the glue has dried. I added a tiny drop of glossy accents to each light on the trees to make them all shine. And as always I finished my card with highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.
