Pretty Pink Posh - Hoppy Easter

dimanche 5 avril 2026

Hi there, happy Easter to those who celebrate it!

I'm thrilled to be back today with this Easter themed slimline card inspired by the Halloween stockings card I made back in October 2025 and the Christmas stockings card I made back in October 2023. This time, the stockings are filled with carrots and chocolate bunnies, flowers have bloomed in the trees and I picked pastel colors to match with the Spring season.

I started off by stamping my images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink, I cut them all using the matching dies and colored everything with my alcohol markers. Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used:  Spring Birdhouses - branches  Holiday Stockings - stockings  Easter Signs - butterflies, bunny, chicks, greeting  Easter Wreath - chicks  Easter Icons - bows, small chicks, carrots, chocolate bunnies  Easter Greetings - tulips, daisies  Tea Time - flowers.

When the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and then moved on to the background. I cut a large Slimline Peekaboo Windows panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock and masked the stitched edges off with washi tape. I used washi tape again to divide my panel in two sections. First a slim section at the bottom: I colored it with mowed lawn oxide ink, mixed rustic wilderness oxide ink with water and added green splatters to my grass border.

Next I covered the rest of the panel with spun sugar oxide ink, and then added words all over the panel using the Easter Words stencil along with kitsch flamingo oxide ink. I splattered water on my panel, dried it with a paper towel, I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters to my panel, and then did the same with picked raspberry oxide ink.

I removed the washi tape, and when my panel was dry I attached it to an 8,5 x 3,5 inches purple panel using 1mm foam tape, and next my purple panel to a matching card base using double sided tape. And finally I attached all the images to my panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares.

Pretty Pink Posh - Easter Bunny Mugs

mardi 24 mars 2026

Hello there,

I'm very happy to be back with this extra colorful card featuring a mash-up of new Pretty Pink Posh items, such as the Easter Bunny Mugs, with older ones, such as the Doily Borders. I've had this border die set for a long time, and it was fun to finally use it!

I started off by creating the background, and I knew that my Easter Bunny Mugs would be mostly neutrals, so that's why I went for a bright and bold background. I cut multiple Doily Borders out of pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple cardstock, mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters all over the borders. I did the same with liquid stardust because I can't help myself but adding sparkles to all my cards, and when my Doily Borders were dry, I attached them one below each other to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches white panel using 1mm foam squares. Next I cut a large Scallop Frame out of white cardstock, and stuck it to the colorful Doily Borders using 1mm foam squares again.

I cut the Easter Bunny Mugs items out of colored cardstock, pattern papers and vellum, added texture to each element using liquid stardust, copic opaque white ink and a white gel pen, and then I assembled my mugs using 1mm foam squares. The only items that don't belong to the Easter Bunny Mug die set are the heart cheeks, collars and bunny white snouts. I used a Valentine Bucket Additions die to cut the hearts, Spring Mug Additions dies to cut the collars and the bow ties, and a Bear Holder die to cut the bunny white snouts.

I gave both of the bunny mugs a pair of googly eyes to make them extra cute, applied glossy accents to their nose and white blizzard nuvo drops to their cheeks, and picked orange hearts from the Colorful Hearts confetti mix that I glued in the center of each bow tie. To tone down my colorful background a bit, I cut a large Eyelet Oval panel out of vellum, added white splatters to it and attached it right in the middle of my Doily Borders panel. Next I stuck the Easter Bunny Mugs using 1mm foam for one and 2mm foam squares for the other, and then stamped two Easter Banner Greetings. I white heat embossed "Spring Greetings" on blue cardstock and "Some Bunny Loves You" on purple cardstock, used a Banner Greetings 3 die to cut the first one and a Banner Greetings 1 die to cut the second one, and finally attached them both to my card using foam squares.

Pretty Pink Posh - Floral Wreath & Bunny Kisses

lundi 9 mars 2026

Hey there,

I'm back with this cute and pretty card showcasing a beautiful floral wreath and a cheeky bunny ready to properly celebrate the arrival of Spring. Obviously, here I put flowers in my wreath to create a Spring themed card, but you definitely could replace them with Easter eggs for a cute and fun Easter themed card. The Pretty Pink Posh die collection is so diverse that the possibilities are endless!

I started off by cutting a large Eyelet Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I covered the stitched edges with washi tape and then applied spun sugar oxide ink all over the panel. To match with the Spring theme, I used the Layered Blooming Vines stencil set to create a beautiful floral pattern on my light pink panel. For the greenery I applied rustic wilderness oxide ink, for the flowers I applied worn lipstick oxide ink and for the small dots I applied fossilized amber oxide ink. Next I splattered water on my panel and dried it with a piece of paper towel, I mixed vintage photo distress ink with water and added brown splatters to my panel with a slim brush, and I did the same with copic opaque white ink. When my panel was dry, I attached it to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches light brown woodgrain panel using 1mm foam tape, and then to a white card base using double sided sticky tape.

I cut the wreath out of green cardstock using the Floral Wreath Builder die set. In the end we can see it, and that was the point, I just needed it as a base to glue all the leaves. Speaking of which, I cut them all out of two different pattern papers: a green stripes pattern paper and a green plaid pattern paper. I added white splatters to each of them and when they were dry, I attached them to my wreath base using liquid glue. To add more interest to my wreath, I used the same die as the one I used to cut the base to cut another wreath out of vellum, I added white splatters to it, and then stuck it to my leafy wreath using liquid glue. Next I used the ring die from the Floral Wreath Builder die set to cut a ring out of the same light brown woodgrain cardstock as the card base, added vintage photo distress ink splatters to the ring, and then attached it on top of the vellum wreath using liquid glue. This ring is mostly covered by the flowers but we still can see it between the bunny's paws.

Still using the Floral Wreath Builder die set, I cut the flowers and started with the pink ones: I cut the large petals out of a pink cross pattern paper, the small petals out of light pink cardstock and the pistils out of yellow cardstock. I added white splatters to the petals and pistils, liquid stardust splatters only to the light pink petals, and fossilized amber distress spritz splatters only to the pistils. I let them dry and assembled them using 1mm foam squares. For the daisies, I cut the petals out of white cardstock and the pistils out of yellow cardstock. I added liquid stardust splatters only to the white petals, and white splatters and fossilized amber distress spritz splatters to the pistils. Again I let them dry and assembled them with 1mm foam squares. I also cut three branches out of dark kraft cardstock and added white splatters to each of them.

Next I cut the bunny pieces using dies from the Big Easter Cupcake die set. I cut the bunny's behind and paws out of light kraft cardstock, and cut the tail and paw pads out of white cardstock. I added vintage photo distress ink splatters to the light kraft pieces, liquid stardust splatters to the tail pieces, and then assembled the paws using liquid glue and the fluffy tail using a 1mm foam square.

I cut a Stitched Torn Rectangle panel out of vellum using the second largest die from that set, attached my leafy wreath on the upper section using 1mm foam squares, stuck the bunny pieces at the bottom of the wreath, and then all the flowers and branches using foam squares and liquid glue. Next I worked on my greeting and cut a banner out of dark brown cardstock using a Banner Greeting 2 die, on that banner I white heat embossed "Sending bunny kisses" from Easter Banner Greetings, I folded the banner on each end, and then attached it below the wreath using 2mm foam squares.

Pretty Pink Posh - Spring Chick Shaker Card

lundi 23 février 2026

Hey there,

I'm thrilled to be back on the blog with this bright and cheerful card featuring some of the brand new items from the Pretty Pink Posh February 2026 release. As I've already mentioned in previous blog posts, I'm a huge fan of the Shaker Collection, and that Chick Shaker caught my attention right away, it's such a cutie!

I started off by cutting a large Pinking Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I masked the stitched edges off with washi tape, covered the whole panel with tumbled glass oxide ink, and then added a fun pattern using the Mini Checker stencil along with broken china oxide ink. Next I mixed copic opaque white ink with water, added white splatters to my panel using a slim brush, and then did the same with tumbled glass distress spritz for some sparkles.

While my panel was drying, I worked on my Chick Shaker and assembled it just like any other shaker item I've made in the past, following those steps:
1. I cut a Chick Shaker frame out of a multicolored stripe pattern paper, cut a whole chick out of acetate, and attached that acetate panel at the back of the multicolored frame using liquid glue,
2. Still at the back of the multicolored frame, I attached foam strips all around it, following the rounded edges of the chick,
3. I poured a bunch of Bunny Hop shaker beads inside the chick,
4. I cut another whole chick out of a yellow pattern paper, added white splatters and fossilized amber distress spritz splatters to that yellow panel,
5. When dry, I attached my yellow panel to the foam strips to totally close my Chick Shaker.

Next I added a few more details to my Chick Shaker. I cut two small hearts out of pink cardstock using a Valentine Bucket Additions die, cut the beak and feet out of orange cardstock using other Chick Shaker dies, and picked two giant googly eyes from my stash. I stuck the beak and the heart cheeks using 1mm foam squares, peeled the backing papers off the eyes and attached them as well, and then stuck the feet using liquid glue. For more cuteness, I applied glossy accents to the beak and feet, white blizzard nuvo drops to the heart cheeks, and set my Chick Shaker aside to dry.

I cut all the Stitched Spring Flowers out of colored cardstock and pattern papers, added texture to each piece using liquid stardust, copic opaque white ink, fossilized amber distress spritz, and when everything was dry, I assembled all the flowers and greenery using foam squares.

Next I cut a Pierced Leafy Vines panel out of kraft cardstock, stuck it to a matching card base using double sided sticky tape, and attached my Mini Checker panel on top using 1mm foam tape. I stuck my Stitched Spring Flowers on both sides of the card in a symmetrical way using foam squares again, gave them more interest by bending the petals a little bit with my fingers, and then attached my cute Chick Shaker right in the middle of the card using more foam squares. For my greeting, I white heat embossed "Bright Spring Wishes" from Easter Banner Greetings, cut it into a wavy banner using a Banner Greetings 3 die, and stuck that banner to the Chick Shaker using foam squares.

Pretty Pink Posh - Watering Can Shaker Card

jeudi 12 février 2026

Hi there,

I'm super happy to be back with this lovely Spring card showcasing several items from the Pretty Pink Posh February 2026 Release. A fun and colorful shaker card that makes you feel that Spring has finally arrived!

I started off by working on the card base and cut a large Eyelet Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock. I masked the stitched and eyelet edges off with washi tape and covered the entire panel with spun sugar oxide ink. Next I used Layered Watering Can stencil set along with broken china, shaded lilac, mowed lawn, worn lipstick, spiced marmalade and fossilized amber oxide inks to create a lovely background. This background ends up mostly covered by all the elements on the card, but it still adds colors and cuteness behind the bunny, watering can and flowers.

I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters all over the panel. I did the same with worn lipstick distress spritz and then with spiced marmalade distress spritz for a touch of sparkles. I removed the washi tape, let my panel dry, and then attached it to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches blue panel using 1mm foam tape.

Next I worked on the Watering Can Shaker, and build it like any of the other Pretty Pink Posh Shakers I've created in the past:

1. First I cut a Watering Can Shaker frame out of a multicolored stripe pattern paper,
2. I cut a whole watering can out of vellum, and attached it at the back of the frame using liquid glue,
3. Still at the back of the frame, I attached foam sticky strips all along the frame, following the shape of the watering can,
4. I poured a bunch of Bunny Hop shaker beads on the vellum,
5. I cut another whole watering can out of the same blue cardstock as the card base, and attached it to the foam strips to totally close my Watering Can Shaker,
6. I cut the watering can handle out of purple cardstock, added white splatters to it, and once dry, stuck it to my Watering Can Shaker using 1mm foam squares,
7. Finally I cut the watering can head out of the same blue cardstock again, added white splatters to it, and stuck it using 1mm foam squares.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces I needed to complete my card out of colored cardstock, white cardstock, pattern papers and vellum. I added white splatters to the tulips, leaves, branches, butterflies, bunny, paws and bows. Added liquid stardust splatters to the daisies, vellum butterflies and bows. Added fossilized amber distress spritz splatters to the daisies center pieces, and vintage photo distress spritz splatters to the butterflies bodies. Here is a detailed list of the die sets I used:

Stitched Spring Flowers - tulips, daisies, leaves, branches  Springtime Holder Additions - butterflies  Bunny Holder - bunny  Bear Holder - bunny snout  Big Easter Cupcake - bunny paws  Valentine Bucket Additions - heart cheeks  Easter Bunny Mugs - bows.

I assembled the flowers, leaves and butterflies using foam squares and liquid glue, assembled the bunny's face and gave him a pair of googly eyes, and then I attached everything to my card using foam squares, starting with the flowers behind the bunny, next the bunny, the Watering Can Shaker, the Stitched Spring Flowers cluster at the bottom, the butterflies and then the bunny's paws.

I white heat embossed "Hello Spring" from Spring Blooms on yellow cardstock, cut it using the matching die and attached it to the watering can using foam squares again. To finish my card, I applied glossy accents to the bunny's nose and white blizzard nuvo drops to the heart cheeks.

[VIDEO HOP] Pretty Pink Posh - February 2026 Release - Decorative Easter Egg

jeudi 5 février 2026

Hello there,

Today's card is part of the Pretty Pink Posh February 2026 Release Video Hop, so make sure to scroll down to the end of this post and check the process video for more details about this hop.

This new release is perfect to create the prettiest Spring themed cards and cutest Easter themed cards, what an amazing release it is! I went for a mix & match of brand new items to make this bright and colorful Easter card.

I started off by cutting a large Pinking Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I masked the stitched edges off and created a rainbow background using oxide inks, from top to bottom: kitsch flamingo, dried marigold, squeezed lemonade, twisted citron, tumbled glass and shaded lilac. Next I taped the Mini Checker stencil on top of my panel, and used darker shades of oxide inks to create a tone on tone look, from top to bottom: worn lipstick, spiced marmalade, fossilized amber, mowed lawn, broken china and wilted violet. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added splatters all over my panel with a slim brush, I did the same with liquid stardust and then the same again with fossilized amber distress spritz. I peeled the washi tape off the edges of my panel, and set it aside to dry.

Next I worked on the Decorative Easter Egg. First, I used the intricate die multiple times to cut all the tiny shapes out of different colored cardstock and pattern paper. Next I cut the front piece out of a yellow pattern paper, and added white splatters and fossilized amber distress spritz splatters to it. I cut three identical "middle" pieces out of white cardstock, and cut the base piece out of white cardstock. I attached one of the "middle" pieces to the base using liquid glue, and then stuck all the tiny pieces inside each space using liquid glue again. I attached the two remaining "middle" pieces on top of my panel, and finally the front piece, still using liquid glue.

To decorate the top and bottom of my card, I used the Stitched Spring Flowers die set, and cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock and pattern papers. I added white splatters to every pieces but the daisies, added liquid stardust splatters to the tulips and daisies, and added fossilized amber distress spritz splatters to the daisies center pieces. And when everything was dry, I assembled the tulips, daisies and leaves using 1mm foam squares.

Next I started to assemble my card. I cut a Chevron Pierced panel out of kraft cardstock and attached it to a matching card base using double sided sticky tape. On top I stuck my rainbow Pinking Rectangle panel using 1mm foam tape. I cut a Stitched Torn Rectangle panel out of vellum and attached it to my rainbow background to tone it down a bit, and then stuck my Decorative Easter Egg on top using 1mm foam squares.

Above and below the Decorative Easter Egg, I attached my Stitched Spring Flowers in a symmetrical way using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and next I worked on my greeting. Using the Large Easter Shadow die set, I cut the shadow element out of vellum, cut the word "Easter" three times out of dark kraft cardstock, glued those three words on top of each other to get dimension, and then attached the whole word to the shadow piece using liquid glue.

I white heat embossed "Joyful Easter Wishes" from Easter Banner Greetings on the same kraft cardstock as the card base, cut it into a wavy banner using a Banner Greetings 3 die, and attached both of my greeting elements to the egg using foam squares. Finally, I applied glossy accents to "Easter" to make it pop a little bit more against the colorful background.

Pretty Pink Posh - Happy Easter

dimanche 20 avril 2025

Hi there, happy Easter!

I'm very happy to be back with this cute and fun Easter card featuring, as very often, a big mix & match of Pretty Pink Posh items from different seasons, including the Bunny Holder from one of the latest releases. Love that bunny so much, he's just so sweet!

I started off by cutting a large Eyelet Rectangle out of kraft cardstock, and I created a lovely background using the Springtime Borders stencils along with oxide inks: worn lipstick + mowed lawn for the tulips, fossilized amber + white pigment ink for the daisies, and spiced marmalade + rustic wilderness for the carrots. I mixed some vintage photo oxide ink with water and added splatters all over the panel using a slim brush, and did the same with copic opaque white ink for contrast and brightness. Once my background was totally dry, I added a white panel at the back to fill all the eyelets with white, attached my Eyelet Rectangle panel to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches orange plaid panel using 1mm foam tape, and then the whole piece to a white card base.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock and pattern papers using dies from multiple die sets. On the colored cardstock and woodgrain cardstock pieces, I added matching distress ink splatters, as well as ink on the edges, to make them less flat, and then white ink splatters. And on the pattern paper pieces, I only added white ink splatters.

Here is a detailed list of the die sets I used:  Bunny Holder - bunny, carrots, nose & mouth  Big Easter Cupcake - paws (feet), sign, cupcake wrap, heart cheeks  Easter Mug Additions - bow, eyebrows, paws (hands)  Big Valentine Cupcake - cake, whipped cream  Easter Bucket Additions - tulips  Spring Mug Additions - bees  Spooky Fence - fences.

Next I cut a large Eyelet Circle panel out of vellum, attached it right in the middle of my Springtime Borders panel using 1mm foam squares, placing those square only in the center of the vellum panel to keep them unnoticeable. I assembled a few things, such as the bunny face, paws, tulips and bees, and attached everything to my panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares.

As for the final details, I white heat embossed "Hoppy Easter" from Easter Signs on the sign, and tucked it into the whipped cream. I gave the bunny a pair of large wiggle eyes and finally applied glossy accents to his nose to make it shiny and cute.

Pretty Pink Posh - Hot Air Carrot Balloon Mix & Match

lundi 14 avril 2025

Hello there,

I'm so glad to be back with this new Easter card featuring a cute bunny in a hot air carrot balloon I built using a large variety of dies from different Pretty Pink Posh sets. I'm happy when I can mix and match my sets!

I started off with the card base and cut a large Slimline Peekaboo Windows panel out of kraft cardstock. I created a cloud background using one of the Spooky Sky stencils along with white pigment ink, and added a little bit of vintage photo distress ink to the edges. I mixed some of that same ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters to my panel, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink. I cut an 8,5 x 3,5 inches panel out of brown woodgrain cardstock, added vintage photo distress ink to the edges, attached that panel to a card base, and then my cloudy kraft panel on top using liquid glue.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock and pattern papers. I added a bit of matching distress ink to each colored cardstock piece and then white splatters to all the elements, and once everything was dry, I attached them all to my panel using foam squares mostly to add dimension to my scene, as well as liquid glue at some places.

As always, here is a detailed list of the die sets I used: • Carrot Shaker - largest carrot • Fall Basket - basket • Party Balloons - strings • Bunny Holder - bunny • Valentine Holder Additions - heart cheeks • Easter Mug Additions - eyebrows, bow (on the bunny), large carrots • Easter Bucket Additions - large bow, daisies, medium carrots • Big Easter Cupcake - small carrots, bunny paws • Beautiful Bows - medium bows • Easter Holder Additions - small bows.

I applied glossy accents to the bunny's nose, gave him a pair of wiggly eyes, and added a heart in the center of each bow from the Valentine Hearts clay confetti mix and Colorful Hearts clay confetti mix. For my greetings, I white heat embossed "Hoppy Easter" from Easter Greetings on pink cardstock and cut it using the matching die. I also white heat embossed "Somebunny loves you" from Sentiment Strips: Easter on the same pink cardstock and trimmed it into a slim banner using a Sentiment Strips die. I applied matching distress ink to the edges of both greetings, and finally attached them to my card using foam squares.

Sunny Studio - Happy Easter Shaker Card

jeudi 3 avril 2025

Hello there,

I'm so happy to be back on the Sunny Studio blog with this bright and cheerful shaker card featuring some super cute chicks all gathered to celebrate Easter. Love those little guys and their chubby faces so much!

I started off by creating the whole shaker card base, and first cut a 4,5 x 3,5 inches Rounded Rectangle Mat panel out of a fun multicolored polka dot Summer Splash pattern paper, I cut two windows out of this panel using the third smallest Rounded Rectangle Window die, attached my panel to a piece of acetate and then trimmed the excess of acetate around my Rounded Rectangle Mat multicolored polka dot panel.

At the back of my multicolored polka dot panel, I added 2mm foam strips all around the windows and on the rest of the panel as well. I poured multicolored sequins inside each window, removed the backing papers off the foam strips, and attached a Flirty Flowers green panel to the foam strips to totally close my shaker panel.

I attached my shaker panel to a 5,25 x 4 inches Gingham Pastels pink panel using liquid glue, next to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Polka Dot Parade blue panel using liquid glue again, and then to a white card base to finish my shaker card base.

Next I stamped my images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the coordinating dies and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and Graph'it brush markers. As always, here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Chickie Baby - chicks, basket, flowers, eggshells • Chubby Bunny - banner, flowers • Spring Showers - umbrellas.

I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and then attached them to my card using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. And to finish it, I added glossy accents to the multicolored Chubby Bunny banner to make it super shiny.
