Today's card features the absolutely gorgeous Elegant Banner Heart die, and to make this beautiful intricate design pop, I decided to keep it white and to layer it on top of a rainbow background. And also to make it a shaker card for the fun part.

So I started off by cutting my Elegant Banner Heart panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, and I also cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel out of the same cardstock that I colored using oxide inks: kitsch flamingo, dried marigold, squeezed lemonade, salvaged patina, tumbled glass and shaded lilac. I mixed a little bit of black soot oxide ink with water and used a small brush to make splatters on the panel, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink.

I attached an acetate panel at the back of my white Elegant Banner Heart panel, and added foam strips on the four edges. I poured some Colorful Hearts confetti and some 3mm sparkling clear sequins on the acetate, removed the backing papers off the foam strips, and attached my rainbow panel to the foam to totally close my shaker panel.

Next I cut a frame out of kraft cardstock using a rectangle frame die from my stash, and attached it on my shaker panel using 1mm foam squares, and finally I cut my "Hugs & kisses" greeting from Elegant Banner Heart out of gold mirror cardstock, and attached the letters on the banner section of the panel.
