Pretty Pink Posh - Elephant Baby Card

Hello there,

I'm so happy to be back today with this lovely baby card featuring, as always, a whole bunch of images from different sets. I had so much fun going through my entire Pretty Pink Posh collection to find the stamps that would match my baby theme!

I started off by stamping all my images on 80lb Neenah using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and my Graph'it brush markers.

Here is a detailed list of the products I used: • Elephant Friends for the elephants • Holiday Stockings for the teddy bear • Spring Robins for the branches • Dinosaur Friends for the leaves • Jungle Friends for the flowers, leaves and ivy • Baby Basics for the rattle • Easter Signs for the pinwheel • Baby for the onesie, bottle, bib, hearts and safety pins.

I cut a Strathmore bristol smooth slimline panel using the largest Slimline Peekaboo Windows die, and colored it using oxide inks. From top to bottom, I applied tumbled glass, squeezed lemonade and dried marigold. And I made this background more interesting by using the Mini Polka Dots stencil along with, from top to bottom, salty ocean, mustard seed and carved pumpkin oxide inks. Next I added texture to my panel, starting with water droplets that I dried with a paper towel. I mixed some black soot oxide ink with water, used a small brush to add splatters to my piece of paper, and did the same with copic opaque white ink.

Once my panel was dry, I stuck all the images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, added highlights and details using a white gel pen, and applied white blizzard nuvo drops to the hearts to make them shine. I white heat embossed my "Congrats on the new baby" greeting from Sentiment Strips: Occasions, cut an 8,5 x 3,5 inches panel out of light brown woodgrain cardstock, attached my panel on top using double sided tape, and finally stuck everything on a kraft card base.

Sunny Studio - Flamazing Sliding Window Card

I'm so happy to be back on the Sunny Studio blog with this fun and bright interactive Sliding Window card featuring three cute Fabulous Flamingos in a tropical scenery. Oh how I love to make tropical cards!

As very often I started off with the coloring and stamped all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my alcohol markers using corals for the flamingos, red for the flowers and different greens for the leaves. Here is a detailed list of the products I used: • Fabulous Flamingos - flamingos, hearts • Tropical Birds - ivy, leaves, flowers • Silly Sloths - flowers, leaves.

I cut a 5 x 3,75 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel using the largest Stitched Rectangle, and colored it using oxide inks. I started off by covering it with cracked pistachio oxide ink to create a nice and even base. I added and blended some lucky clover oxide ink on the four edges, and then brought more interest to this background using a leafy stencil from my stash along with lucky clover oxide ink. I splattered clear water all over my panel and dried it using a paper towel. Next I mixed some pine needle oxide ink with water, used a small brush to make splatters on my panel, and then did the same with black soot oxide ink and with copic opaque white ink.

Next I cut and colored two additional Strathmore bristol smooth panels. The first one measures 5 x 3,25 inches, I cut the second one using the largest Stitched Rectangle die, and colored them both using the same colors. I first covered them with tattered rose oxide ink, and used the same leafy background stencil as before along with saltwater taffy oxide ink.

Once my leafy green panel was dry, I cut my Sliding Window out of it, as well as the notch at the top, folded my panel on the score lines, flipped it over, and added double sided tape on the slim bottom tab. I peeled the backing paper off this tab, flipped my 5 x 3,25 inches leafy pink panel over, and attached it at the back of my leafy green panel, lining up the bottom edge of the leafy green panel with the slim tab. I glued the small tab piece at the top of my leafy green panel, pierced a hole through that tab, cut a green eyelet using a die from Sliding Window, attached this eyelet to the tab, and added red twine to create a handle and be able to pull the interactive panel.

I flipped my leafy green panel over, and added foam strips along the bottom edge, on the side edges as well, but not along the top edge. I peeled all the backing papers off, and attached my leafy green panel to the remaining leafy pink panel to complete the whole interactive process. Next I cut a 5,25 x 4 inches white panel that I attached to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Polka Dot Parade red pattern paper, and then stuck this whole panel to a white card base.

At the inside bottom of the card, I stamped "You're flamazing" from Fabulous Flamingos in black, added a few extra images, and did the same at the inside top of the pull tab. I also white heat embossed the banner from Little Birdie on vellum, embossed "Hello friend" from Chubby Bunny and Bighearted Bears inside the banner, cut it using the matching die, and attached it below the flamingos using clear foam squares. As always I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

Pretty Pink Posh - Strawberry Cupcake

Hi there,

How about we take a break and have a sweet treat? Who's with me? I took out a bunch of dies from different Pretty Pink Posh sets to help me build this lovely card, and I love how refreshing it looks.

I cut an Eyelet Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, and started off by covering it with spun sugar oxide ink to get a nice soft pink base. Next I used the Layered Strawberries stencils to create a beautiful pattern on my panel. For the strawberries, I used worn lipstick, candied apple, hickory smoke, shabby shutters and mowed lawn oxide inks. For the flowers, I used squeezed lemonade, mustard seed and carved pumpkin. And for the leaves, I used shabby shutters, mowed lawn and rustic wilderness oxide inks.

I added texture to my panel, starting with water droplets that I dried using a paper towel. Next I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water, and used a small brush to add splatters to my panel, and then I did the same with black soot oxide ink. Once it was dry, I attached my Eyelet Rectangle panel to an A2 white card base that I set aside for later.

I die cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock, kraft cardstock and white cardstock, and assembled everything on a 4,5 x 3,25 inches vellum panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, liquid glue and 3mm glue dots.

Here is a detailed list of the products I used: • Big Celebration Cupcake for the ants, strawberries and blueberries • Big Easter Cupcake for the cupcake wrap and sign • Big Valentine Cupcake for the cake and cream • Easter Mug Additions for the flowers • Winter Foliage for the leaves • Baby Rattle Shaker for the hearts.

For my greeting, I used stamps from Fresh Berries. I stamped "Love you" in black on white cardstock, and trimmed it into a banner using a Sentiment Strips die. And I stamped "Berry much" in red on white cardstock, cut it using the matching die, and attached both pieces below the cupcake using foam squares.

Next I flipped my vellum panel over, added liquid glue behind all the die cut pieces, and stuck the panel to my Layered Strawberries card base. I picked a few sprinkles from the Strawberry Banana clay confetti pack, and glued them on the cream. I added highlights and details using a white gel pen, and finished my card by applying white blizzard nuvo drops to the hearts.

Sunny Studio - Pandastic Rainforest Scene

I'm super happy to be back on the Sunny Studio blog with this extra busy slimline card that combines two of my favorite things: a stenciled background and alcohol marker coloring. I've had this idea of pairing the pandas from Panda Party with the panda umbrellas from Spring Showers for quite some time, and I'm thrilled to finally be able to share it with you!

I started off by stamping all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and my Graph'it brush markers. Obviously I used my black and light gray markers a lot to color my cute pandas and umbrellas, as well as greens, yellows and aquas for the leaves and flowers.

Here is a detailed list of the products I used: • Panda Party + Bighearted Bears - pandas • Seasonal Trees - log • Spring Showers - umbrellas • Fabulous Flamingos - leaves • Tiki Time - toucans • Bunnyville - butterflies • Tropical Birds - leaves, ivy, flowers • Silly Sloths - flowers, leaves.

To fit all my images in one single scene, I cut an 8,5 x 3,5 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel, and colored it using stencils from my stash. On the lower part, I created a grass border using a slimline hillside stencil along with mowed lawn and rustic wilderness oxide inks. I then mixed some rustic wilderness oxide ink with water and used a small brush to make splatters on my grass border.

Next I covered the whole upper part with salvaged patina oxide ink, and used a bamboo stencil along with peacock feathers oxide ink to create a bamboo forest. I also applied a little bit of peacock feathers oxide ink on the edges of my panel, and added texture, starting with water droplets that I dried using a paper towel. Next I mixed some peacock feathers oxide ink with water, added splatters on my bamboo background using my small brush, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink. And finally, I used a rainy background stencil along with sparkling clear paste to make rain.

Once my panel was dry, I attached all my images on the panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and then worked on my greeting. I started off by white heat embossing the banner from Little Birdie on vellum, next I embossed "You're pandastic" from Panda Party inside the banner, cut that banner using the matching die, and attached it to my panel using clear foam squares. And as always I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

Pretty Pink Posh - Dinosaur Friends Fancy Card

I'm kicking off the Animal Theme Week on the Pretty Pink Posh blog with this super colorful dinosaur themed fancy card featuring a mix & match of "old" and new Pretty Pink Posh products. As you may already know, I like to create cute busy scenes, and this Fancy Card die set is just perfect to do that!

I stamped my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Graph'it brush markers. Here is a detailed list of the products I used: • Dinosaur Friends for the palm trees, bones, leaves and dinosaurs • Dinosaur Additions for the volcano and dinosaurs • Construction Trucks for the rocks • Jungle Friends for the flowers.

Next I worked on my three panels, and started off by cutting a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel that I colored using oxide inks. On the lower part, I created a mud/sand border using antique linen and vintage photo oxide inks. In the middle part, I created a grass border using mowed lawn and rustic wilderness oxide inks. And on the top part, I did the sky using tumbled glass and salty ocean oxide inks. I white heat embossed my "You are dino-mite!" greeting from Dinosaur Friends on the top right hand corner, and set my panel aside.

I cut a second panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using the second Fancy Card die, and colored it using the same inks as before, except for the sky. Next I used the same die again to cut a colorful plaid panel, cut the tab off, and glued that panel at the back of the other.

I cut a third panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using the third Fancy Card die, and colored it using the same green inks as before only. I used the same die again to cut a panel out of the same colorful plaid paper as before, cut the tab off, and glued that panel at the back of the other.

Next I attached those two Fancy Card panels on each side of the main panel, stuck the whole thing to a white card base, and then attached all my images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. As always, I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

Sunny Studio - Enchanted Square Card

I'm back on the Sunny Studio with this lovely Enchanted scene I created on a square sized card. It's not that often that I create square cards, but they're fun to make, and it's nice to use something different from the traditional A2 sized cards.

I started off by stamping all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I cut them using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and my Graph'it brush markers. Here is a detailed list of the products I used: • Enchanted - castle, princess, carriage • Spring Scenes - trees • Garden Critters - grass • Spring Showers - tulips • Seasonal Trees - birds.

I cut a Strathmore bristol smooth square panel using the 3rd largest Stitched Square, and colored it using a hillside stencil from my stash along with oxide inks. On the upper part, I blended, from top to bottom, wilted violet + prize ribbon + peacock feathers oxide inks. I splattered water droplets that I dried using a paper towel. I also mixed some copic opaque white ink with water, and used a small brush to make more splatters on the sky. And to make that sky even more magical, I added sparkling stars using a starry sky stencil from my stash along with glittery clear stenciling paste. On the lower part of my panel, I blended mowed lawn + rustic wilderness oxide inks, mixed some rustic wilderness oxide ink with water, used my small brush again to add splatters on the grass, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink. Once my panel was dry, I white heat embossed my "Hoping your day is magical" greeting from Garden Fairy at the bottom.

I cut a scalloped square panel out of textured white cardstock using the 2nd largest Scalloped Square 2 Large die, and attached strips of holographic cardstock at the back, along the four edges, right on the holes, to bring more shine to my card. Next I cut a Gingham Pastels pink panel using the 1st largest Stitched Square, attached my scalloped square panel on top using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck my oxide ink panel using double sided tape. And I attached my whole panel on a 4,5 x 4,5 inches white card base. I stuck all the images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and finally added highlights and details using a white gel pen.

Lawn Fawn - Sweet Rainbow Stenciled Cards

I'm thrilled to be back on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel & Blog with this duo of sweet and bright stenciled cards featuring new products from the Summer 2024 release, as well as previously released die sets, a perfect mix & match, just how I like them! And I wanted those cards to be super colorful so I went to town with rainbow inks and rainbow cardstock.

Let's start with the cupcake card, shall we? I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel out of Kraft cardstock, and to make my colors pop, I first applied Yeti ink using the Bunting Background stencil #1. Using that same stencil, I applied oxide inks to create my colorful banners: kitsch flamingo + picked raspberry, dried marigold + carved pumpkin, squeezed lemonade + mustard seed, twisted citron + mowed lawn, salvaged patina + peacock feathers, and shaded lilac + wilted violet. Next I layered the stencil #2, applied hickory smoke oxide ink to make the strings, and applied kitsch flamingo + picked raspberry oxide inks to make the rosettes. I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water, and used a small brush to add splatters all over the panel, and did the same with black soot oxide ink.

Next I die cut a whole bunch of bits and pieces out of colored cardstock using Stitched Cupcake dies. I also cut the cupcake wrap out of a Pint sized patterns summertime 6x6 pattern paper, and I assembled everything on my panel using foam squares, liquid glue and glue dots.

For my greeting, I started off by stamping in black "You're the sweetest toppings on my cupcake" from Sweet Friends, and I also die cut a couple of Henry's ABCs letters to make the word "Hi!". I glued those letters above my sentiment, and added three little hearts for more cuteness. I added highlights and details to the die cut pieces using a white gel pen, and added white blizzard nuvo drops to the hearts to make them super shiny.

The icecream card was made the same way as the cupcake card. I used the Draped ribbons stencil to make the background, die cut all the bits and pieces using I Scream You Scream dies, and the "Of all the flavor you're the sweetest" greeting is from Sweetest Flavor.

Pretty Pink Posh - Constructions Additions Slimline Card

Hello there,

I'm so glad to be back with this super cute slimline card featuring the Construction Additions stamp set from the Pretty Pink Posh June 2024 Release. The trucks were so fun to stamp and color, and I had a blast adding all the small details to create those four little vignettes.

I started off by cutting a Strathmore bristol smooth slimline panel using the largest Slimline: Peekaboo Windows die, and created roads interspersed with sand sections using the Layered Roads stencils. For the roads, I applied hickory smoke and black soot oxide inks, and for the sand sections, I used antique linen and vintage photo oxide inks. To emphasize the sand texture, I mixed some vintage photo oxide ink with water and used a small brush to add splatters on the paper, and I did the same with copic opaque white ink.

I set my panel aside to dry, and stamped all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my alcohol markers. And in addition to the background, I knew that there would be a lot of neutral colors on this card, with the rocks, dirt, and tires, so I picked very bright colors to color the trucks, and make them pop on the background. I colored all the Construction Additions images, as well as the traffic cones, hearts, dirt piles and rounded shovel from Construction Trucks.

Next I white heat embossed "You are tons of fun" from Construction Additions on the right hand side of my panel, and attached all the images using 1mm foam squares. I also stamped in black three additional sentiments from the same set, and added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

I cut an 8,5 x 3,5 inches kraft panel that I attached to a matching card base, cut a slightly smaller white panel that I stuck on top, and attached my Construction Additions panel using double sided tape.
