Pretty Pink Posh - June 2025 Release - Seashells & Seashell Wreath

Hey there,

The brand new Pretty Pink Posh June 2025 Release is now available, and I'm very happy to be back with this slimline card featuring two new stamp sets: Seashells and Seashell Wreath. It was super fun to mix & match all those beautiful underwater themed images.

And speaking of which, I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I used the matching dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers.

The wreath and some of the seashells are from Seashell Wreath, I picked more seashells from Seashells, and the fish are from previously released stamp sets: Baby Animals and Birthday Dogs & Cats. And as always, when the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

Next I cut a slimline panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using the largest Slimline Peekaboo Windows die, masked the stitching details on the edges with washi tape, covered the whole panel with salvaged patina oxide ink, and then added a polka dot pattern using the Medium Polka Dot stencil along with peacock feathers oxide ink. I splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel, I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters to my panel with a slim brush, and then I did the same with peacock feathers oxide ink and with prize ribbon oxide ink. I removed the washi tape, and when my panel was dry, I attached it to an 8,5 x 3,5 inches dark blue panel, and then to a matching card base.

I cut a large Eyelet Circle panel out of vellum, splattered white ink all over it, and when it was dry I attached my Seashell Wreath to it using 1mm foam squares. I stuck the vellum panel in the very center of my polka dot panel using foam squares again, and then attached all the seashells on both sides using the same adhesives.

For my greeting, I white heat embossed "You are spe-shell" from Seashells on dark aqua cardstock, cut it using the matching die, and finally stuck it right in the middle of the Seashell Wreath using foam squares.
