Pretty Pink Posh STAMPtember 2025 Collab - Posh Roses

Hello there,

This year, Pretty Pink Posh is collaborating again with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember, and has designed the gorgeous and exclusive Posh Roses stamp set. Love those beautiful roses and how versatile they are, they can be used for so many occasions! How about pink roses for Spring, or red ones for Valentine? And what do you think of black roses for a goth like Halloween? That one would be so cool! I went for a pretty traditional color palette, with bright yellow roses and khaki green leaves, I love how those colors compliment each other so well.

I started off by stamping the roses and leaves on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink. I cut them with the matching dies, and colored everything with my Ohuhu markers: YR33 + Y2 + Y1 for the roses, and G300 + GY42 + GY8 for the leaves.

When the coloring was done, I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water on my work surface and used a slim brush to add white splatters all over my images. I did the same with fossilized amber distress spritz and then set my images aside to dry.

Next I cut a large Eyelet Rectangle kraft panel and stenciled a Fancy Lattice on top using opaque white paste. I didn't want it to be super perfect, so at some places I purposely didn't go to the very edges of my panel. Let the paste dry, and then attached my Posh Roses and leaves using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, making sure to leave enough space in the center to put my greeting.

Speaking of which, I used the Friend Shadow dies. I cut the shadow out of vellum and the word "Friend" out of gold mirror cardstock. Stuck the gold piece to the vellum piece using liquid glue, and then attached my word to the panel using liquid glue again, but only a few dots at the back of the word. Finally I white embossed "Many thanks" from Posh Roses on dark brown cardstock, cut it using the matching die and then attached it using a couple of foam squares.
