Pretty Pink Posh - Gingerbread Friends Photo Frames

Hi there,

I'm super happy to be back with this extra bright and cheerful Pretty Pink Posh holiday card featuring the extra cute Gingerbread Friends popping from Stitched Photo Frames. How fun it was to assemble those colorful frames and then tucked my images inside of them!

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink, used the matching dies to cut them all, and my Ohuhu markers to color everything. Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Gingerbread Friends - gingerbread characters, candy canes, lollipops, gummies, presents, hats • Christmas Train - wreath, holly, presents • Holiday Word Scenes - greeting.

When the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen. I also used glossy accents to decorate some of them: the white icing details on the Gingerbread Friends, a dot on each holly berry, and a dot on the berries on each wreath.

I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using the Argyle Pierced Plate die and colored it with oxide inks. First I covered the entire panel with tumbled glass oxide ink, next I added broken china oxide ink on the edges and then used my broken china blending tool to mix the colors. I splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel, mixed some copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters to my panel, I did the same with uncharted mariner oxide ink for contrast and then the same again with liquid stardust for sparkles.

Next I cut and built four Stitched Photo Frames. I cut the front of each photo out of colored cardstock, added matching distress ink to the edges, splattered white ink on each frame, and when they were dry, I attached each frame to pattern papers using foam stripes.

Finally I attached everything to my panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, starting with the Stitched Photo Frames, tucking some of the images inside each frame and attached the others outside.
