Pretty Pink Posh - Winter Trucks

Hi there,

I'm back with this cute and fun winter card featuring trucks clearing the roads from snow, using different Pretty Pink Posh items to create a super cool and colorful scene.

I started off by cutting a Pierced Snowflakes panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, and I knew that most of it would be covered, so I only colored the top using salvaged patina oxide ink. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters to the top of my panel, I did the same with liquid stardust for sparkles, and then added snowflakes using the Cascading Snowflakes stencil along with opaque white grit paste. When the paste was dry, I attached my panel to a white card base.

I cut two roads out of dark grey cardstock using a City Buildings die and added white splatters to both pieces. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel out of white cardstock, cut four Snowy Hill Borders out of it, and added liquid stardust splatters to each border.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock, white cardstock, holographic cardstock, silver glitter cardstock, and a light blue pattern paper. I added liquid stardust splatters to the white pieces, white splatters to the colored pieces, and when everything was dry, I assembled my elements using foam squares and liquid glue. The truck in the upper part is from Big Excavator, the one in the lower part is from Big Dump Truck, and I used Christmas Holder Additions and Christmas Bucket Additions dies to create the snowflakes.

I attached everything to my card: roads, snowy hills, piles of snow and snowflakes using foam squares and liquid glue. For my greeting, I white heat embossed "Winter Greetings" from Christmas Banner Greetings on purple cardstock, cut it into a wavy banner using a Banner Greeting 1 die, and stuck it to the Big Dump Truck using 1mm foam squares. Finally, I picked three snowflake confetti from the Pastel Blizzard mix, and stuck a snowflake in the center of each large snowflake using liquid glue.
