Pretty Pink Posh STAMPtember 2025 Collab - Posh Roses

Hello there,

This year, Pretty Pink Posh is collaborating again with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember, and has designed the gorgeous and exclusive Posh Roses stamp set. Love those beautiful roses and how versatile they are, they can be used for so many occasions! How about pink roses for Spring, or red ones for Valentine? And what do you think of black roses for a goth like Halloween? That one would be so cool! I went for a pretty traditional color palette, with bright yellow roses and khaki green leaves, I love how those colors compliment each other so well.

I started off by stamping the roses and leaves on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink. I cut them with the matching dies, and colored everything with my Ohuhu markers: YR33 + Y2 + Y1 for the roses, and G300 + GY42 + GY8 for the leaves.

When the coloring was done, I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water on my work surface and used a slim brush to add white splatters all over my images. I did the same with fossilized amber distress spritz and then set my images aside to dry.

Next I cut a large Eyelet Rectangle kraft panel and stenciled a Fancy Lattice on top using opaque white paste. I didn't want it to be super perfect, so at some places I purposely didn't go to the very edges of my panel. Let the paste dry, and then attached my Posh Roses and leaves using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, making sure to leave enough space in the center to put my greeting.

Speaking of which, I used the Friend Shadow dies. I cut the shadow out of vellum and the word "Friend" out of gold mirror cardstock. Stuck the gold piece to the vellum piece using liquid glue, and then attached my word to the panel using liquid glue again, but only a few dots at the back of the word. Finally I white embossed "Many thanks" from Posh Roses on dark brown cardstock, cut it using the matching die and then attached it using a couple of foam squares.

Pretty Pink Posh - Hocus Pocus Shaker Card

Hello there,

How exciting it is to be back with this bright and sparkling shaker card! If you've been following me and my work for a while, you know that one of my favorite things is to mix and match new items with older ones, and this is what I did on today's card: the Cat Holder and a few other pieces are from the Pretty Pink Posh August 2025 Release, the Cauldron Shaker was released a few years ago, and everything matches perfectly, don't you think?

First thing first: the background. I cut a large Stitched Torn Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, and created a dark spooky background. At the bottom, I applied rustic wilderness oxide ink to create a grass border, and then, going up, I applied prize ribbon and chipped sapphire oxide inks. Next I used the Spooky Trees stencil to add trees to my background. I placed the stencil on my panel, and from top to bottom, I applied black soot and chipped sapphire oxide inks, stopping the inking right above the grass border. As always I added texture to my panel, starting with water droplets that I dried with a paper towel. Next I mixed black soot oxide ink with water and used a slim brush to add more splatters to the tree section, I did the same with rustic wilderness oxide ink on the grass section, and then the same again with copic opaque white ink and brushed pewter mica spray that I splattered all over the panel.

When my panel was dry, I attached it to 5,5 x 4,25 inches light mint panel and then to a white card base, and I built my Cauldron Shaker, following those steps:

1. I cut a Cauldron Shaker frame out of purple cardstock, added wilted violet distress ink to the edges, mixed that same ink with water, added purple splatters to my cauldron frame, and did the same with white ink,

2. To make the inside of the cauldron, I took the inside piece I didn't use at step #1, placed it on aqua cardstock, traced the shape using a pencil, cut that shape about 2mm out of the pencil line, and erased the pencil line. I applied peacock feathers distress ink to the edges of my piece of paper, mixed that same ink with water, added splatters, and white ink splatters as well,

3. I used my aqua cauldron shape as a template to cut the same shape out of acetate, and I stuck that piece of acetate at the back of my purple frame using liquid glue,

4. Still at the back of the cauldron frame, I added foam strips all along the curvy edges,

5. I poured a bunch of Spellbound shaker beads inside the cauldron, peeled the backing papers off the foam strips, and then attached my aqua piece of paper to the foam strips to close my Cauldron Shaker.

I cut all the Cat Holder pieces out of dark grey cardstock, added black soot distress ink to the edges of each element, mixed that same ink with water, splattered black droplets all over those pieces using a slim brush, and did the same with white ink. And I wanted him to have a cute chubby face, so I cut his head a second time, trimmed it in a curvy way, added the same ink and texture, and assembled the basic shape (with no accessories and details) of my kitty using 1mm foam squares.

Next I cut all the accessories and details that go on and next to my Cat Holder, starting with the broom using Halloween Holder Additions dies. I cut the stick out of light kraft cardstock and the fluffy part of the broom out of dark kraft cardstock, added vintage photo distress ink to each piece to darken them, mixed some ground espresso distress ink with water and added splatters to both pieces, and then did the same with white ink. I cut a Jack o' Lantern out of orange cardstock and a whole one out of dark brown cardstock using a Halloween Holder Additions die. I applied ripe persimmon distress ink to the edges of the orange pumpkin, mixed that same ink with water, added splatters to the pumpkin, and then did the same with white ink. I attached the orange pumpkin to the brown one using 1mm foam squares, and then put the Jack 'o Lantern in the kitty's paws using liquid glue. I cut two hearts out of light pink cardstock using a Valentine Holder Additions die, added texture using picked raspberry distress ink and white ink, and stuck them to the cat's face using 1mm foam squares. I gave him a pair of wiggly oval eyes, as well as black eyebrows using Easter Mug Additions dies, and to make him even cuter, I tied a black organza triple bow around his neck, glued a tiny spider in its center, and applied glossy accents to that spider, as well as to the kitty's nose. I cut one extra Cat Holder out of black glitter cardstock, attached my cute cat to it using 1mm foam squares and by shifting them to get a nice glittery border around the cat.

Before attaching everything to my card, I cut three spider webs out of vellum using a Halloween Holder Additions die, and three spiders out of dark grey cardstock, added black soot distress ink to the edges of each spider, as well as white ink splatters, and when they were dry, I gave them eyes using Onyx pearls. The bubbly potion and detached bubbles were cut out of aqua cardstock using Halloween Mug Additions dies and I gave those pieces the same texture as the inside of the cauldron. Next I quickly put everything on my card to see where I wanted the spider webs to go, I stuck them using liquid glue, and then attached all the elements using 1mm and 2mm foam squares.

Next I white heat embossed "Hocus Pocus" from Halloween Greetings on black cardstock, cut it with the matching die, and attached it to the Cauldron Shaker using 1mm foam squares. I also white heat embossed "Let's spook up some fun" from Sentiment Strips: Halloween on green cardstock, cut it into a slim banner using a Sentiment Strips die, applied a bit of mowed lawn distress ink to the edges, and then attached that banner to my card using 2mm foam squares. As the final details and to make my little scene extra magical, I glued fine and chunky glitter to the bubbles.

Sunny Studio - Squirrel Friends Autumn Card

I'm very happy to be back with the extra cute and warm Sunny Studio Squirrel Friends, all gathered to pick acorns and have fun in the woods.

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, as always I used the matching dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers. Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Squirrel Friends - squirrels, acorns, stump • Little Birdie - branches • Silly Sloths - leaves • Bunnyville - grass.

When the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and next I moved on to the background. I cut a rounded panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using the largest Rounded Rectangle Mat die, and created a bright background using stencils from my stash along with distress inks: a grass border using peeled paint distress ink, and a cloudy sky using scattered straw and fossilized amber distress ink.

Next I used the largest Rounded Rectangle Mat die again to cut a Gingham Jewel Tones brown panel, and used the second largest Rounded Rectangle Window die to turn my brown gingham panel into a rounded frame. I attached that frame to my cloudy panel using 1mm foam squares, stamped "You're a little nutty & I love it!" from Squirrel Friends, and then attached all the images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. Finally I stuck my rounded scene to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches dark brown panel, and then to a brown card base.

Sunny Studio - Autumn Mix & Match

Hello there,

I'm thrilled to be back with this Sunny Studio autumn card featuring the mouse family again. This time, they're back with their rakes to pick up the falling leaves and keep the neighborhood neat and tidy.

I cut a 7,75 x 2,75 inches slimline panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using a Slimline Scalloped Frame die, and created a very simple background. I divided my panel in two sections using washi tape, and started by covering the bottom part with peeled paint distress ink. I mixed that same ink with water and used a slim brush to add green splatters to my grass section. Next I did the sky on the upper part using a cloudy stencil from my stash along with tumbled glass and broken china distress inks. I mixed some broken china distress ink with water and added blue splatters to the sky, and then I did the same with copic opaque white ink and splattered white droplets all over my slimline panel.

When my panel was dry, I stamped my greeting from Fall Friends, attached it to an 8 x 3 inches white panel using 1mm foam tape. I cut a scalloped panel out of aqua cardstock using another Slimline Scalloped Frame die, stuck the white panel to it using liquid glue, and then attached the whole thing to an 8,5 x 3,5 inches green card base using 1mm foam tape again.

Next I stamped my images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers.

Pretty Pink Posh - Spider Shaker Card

Hi there,

I'm happy to be back with this extra fun and spooky Halloween card showcasing some items from the Pretty Pink Posh August 2025 Release, including the amazing Spider Shaker die that I adore! I'm not a huge fan of spiders in real life, especially when they're gigantic, but it's impossible to hate them when they're made out of paper and wearing fun wiggly eyes!

I started off by creating the background and cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel that I entirely covered with kitsch flamingo oxide ink. I added picked raspberry oxide ink to the edges to darken my pink background, and to give the illusion that my spooky scene takes place in the woods, I used the Layered Birch Trees stencils along with hickory smoke and black soot oxide inks to add a bunch of trees to my panel. I splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel, mixed some picked raspberry oxide ink with water and added pink splatters, I did the same with black soot oxide ink, and then the same again with copic opaque white ink using a slim brush. 

I cut my Spider Web Cover Plate panel out of light purple cardstock and brought more depth and interest to it using distress inks and texture. I first applied wilted violet distress ink, from the edges towards the center of the spider web, and then added villainous potion distress ink, but only to the edges, to darken my panel even more. For the textures, I started by mixing villainous potion distress ink with water and splattered dark purple droplets on my spider web background. I did the same with black soot oxide ink, with white ink as well, and then with brushed pewter mica spray to bring sparkles to this panel.

I stuck my Spider Web Cover Plate panel to my pink panel using 1mm foam squares, and to make my background even more interesting, I cut a Nature Essentials frame out of textured black cardstock and attached it to my purple panel using 1mm foam squares again. Finally, I attached my panel to a white card base using liquid glue.

Next I created my giant Spider Shaker, following those steps:

1. I cut a Spider Shaker frame out of aqua cardstock, added peacock feathers distress ink to the edges and legs, mixed that same ink with water and added splatters all over the spider, I did the same with black soot distress ink and then with copic opaque white ink,

2. I cut a whole Spider Shaker out of acetate and attached it at the back of my aqua spider frame using liquid glue,

3. Still at the back of the spider, I added foam strips all along her rounded body and on each leg as well,

4. I poured a bunch of Spellbound shaker beads inside the spider,

5. I cut a whole Spider Shaker out of light green cardstock, added peeled paint distress ink to the edges of the rounded body, mixed that same ink with water, added splatters on my green spider, and did the same with copic opaque white ink

6. I peeled the backing papers off the foam strips, and attached the green spider to the strips to totally close my Spider Shaker.

Next I cut the witch hat using dies from Halloween Mug Additions. I cut the hat out of dark grey cardstock, added a bit of black soot distress ink to the edges, mixed that same ink with water, added splatters to the hat, and then did the same with white ink. I cut the hat detail out of light pink cardstock, added picked raspberry distress ink to darken it a bit, and then added splatters. I attached that pink detail to the hat using 1mm foam squares, tied a black organza double bow and attached it to the witch hat using liquid glue.

I wanted my Spider Shaker to be flying on a broom, so I cut two different pieces to build it. I cut the stick out of light kraft cardstock using a Halloween Mug Additions die, and the fluffy part of the broom out of dark kraft cardstock using a Halloween Holder Additions die. I added vintage photo distress ink to each piece to darken them, mixed some ground espresso distress ink with water and added splatters to both pieces, and then did the same with white ink.

I also cut a bunch of spiders using dies from the Spider Web Cover Plate die set, and I wanted them to stand out against my background, so I first cut them out of dark grey cardstock, added black soot to the edges of each spider, as well as white ink splatters. I cut more spiders out of vellum using the same dies, attached a black spider to a vellum spider using 1mm foam squares, shifted the spiders a little bit to get those vellum legs noticeable, and then I gave each spider a pair of wiggly eyes.

I white heat embossed "Boo to you" from Halloween Greetings on black cardstock, cut it with the matching die, attached it at the bottom right hand corner of my card, and stuck some spiders, starting with the larger one, using foam squares. I slid the broom behind the Spider Shaker's legs, attached more spiders, stuck the hat on the big spider's head, and finally gave her a pair of giant wiggly eyes.
