Pretty Pink Posh - Build A Heart Card + Love Word Shaker Tag

Hello there,

I'm thrilled to be back with this set of Valentine card and shaker tag using products from the brand new Pretty Pink Posh Valentine 2025 release: Build A Heart, Love Word Shaker, Valentine Greetings and Upright Greetings: Valentine.

I started off by cutting a large Eyelet Rectangle out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I masked the four scalloped edges with washi tape, colored the panel with spun sugar oxide ink first, and then added a fun pattern using the Medium Polka Dots stencil along with kitsch flamingo oxide ink. I splattered water and dried the panel with a paper towel, mixed some picked raspberry oxide ink with water and used a slim brush to add more splatters, I did the same with seedless preserves oxide ink, with copic opaque white ink and with liquid stardust, and once my panel was dry, I attached a piece of ribbon at the very bottom.

I cut all the hearts and decorative pieces out of colored cardstock, directly inspired by the Hugs & Kisses confetti mix. I assembled everything using liquid glue, and splattered white ink on all the hearts to give them more character. Here is a detailed list of the die sets I used: • Build A Heart - three largest hearts and decorative pieces • Stitched Hearts - stitched hearts • Xoxo Border - small hearts • Baby Mug Additions - tiny hearts.

I cut three additional large hearts out of holographic cardstock and attached them at the back of the large colorful hearts using liquid glue, I stuck all the hearts on the panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, tied a bow using the same ribbon as before, and attached it on the left hand corner.

I stamped and embossed "Hugs & kisses" from Valentine Greetings in silver on white cardstock, cut it using the matching die, and attached it on the upper right hand corner using foam squares. Finally I attached my Eyelet Rectangle panel to a purple striped 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel using 1mm foam squares, and then to a white card base using liquid glue.

Next I created the shaker tag using the Love Word Shaker, and here is how I built it:

1. Cut a Love Word Shaker frame out of lilac cardstock using the main die and heart die from the set

2. Cut a whole Love Word Shaker panel out of acetate, trimmed the heart and attached it at the back of the purple frame right behind the heart using liquid glue

3. Added foam strips at the back of the frame all around the heart, and behind each letter as well

4. Poured some Hugs & Kisses confetti inside the heart frame

5. Cut another Love Word Shaker acetate panel, trimmed the heart, and attached it to the foam strips on the heart purple frame to totally close the shaker element

5. Cut another Love Word Shaker purple frame, and attached it to the foam strips to finish the back of the tag

6. Cut a light blue handle using a Build A Stocking die, and stuck it on top of the "L"

I cut the "L", "V" and "E" out of colored cardstock, added a pattern to each letter using the Mini Polka Dots stencil and matching distress inks, added white ink to each element, and once everything was dry, I attached the letters to my Love Word Shaker panel using 1mm foam squares. I also cut a small heart from Xoxo Border out of holographic cardstock, and attached it right in the center of the shaker heart.

I had one more Build A Heart heart that couldn't fit on the card, so I added a handle to that heart, and tied it to my Love Word Shaker tag using purple twine and heart beads from my stash. Next I stamped and embossed "I love you" and "Hugs & kisses" from Upright Greetings: Valentine in silver on white cardstock, and trimmed them into slim banners using Sentiments Strips dies. I cut two additional strips out of purple cardstock, attached them behind the white banners, and then attached both banners using liquid glue. And finally, to totally match with the card, I tied a bow using the same ribbon as before, and stuck it at the top of the banner strips using liquid glue.
