Anjas Basteltraum - Draußen vom Walde - Outside The Forest

Hey there,

I'm so happy to be back with the second card I made using items from the Anjas Basteltraum Winter 2023 brand new release. Today my card features the super cute Draußen vom Walde stamp set, which means "Outside the forest", and if you want to see the first card I shared last week, you can check it out right here, as well as at the end of this blog post ^^

I started off by stamping the images from Draußen vom Walde on Transotype perfect coloring paper using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them using my scan 'n cut machine, and colored everything using my alcohol markers.

Next I used the Mini Slimline Outside The Box die set by My Favorite Things to cut the different pieces to build my 3D card. I cut the base pieces out of white cardstock, and cut the decorative pieces out of pattern papers from the Happy Holidays 6x6 paper pack by Echo Park.

I assembled everything, added highlights and details on the images using a white gel pen, attached most of them inside the card using 3mm glue dots, and a couple more on the outside using 1mm foam squares.

Next I gold foiled my "Oh joy" greeting from Winter Big Scripty Words Hot Foil Plates by Lawn Fawn on white cardstock, cut it using the coordinating die, and finally stuck it on the front of my 3D card using foam squares again.

And just like last week, you can see on the first and last pictures that I built a few colorful 3D trees using the new Sommer & Winter Tanne die set to use as decorations around my cards.

Anjas Basteltraum Winter 2023 Release - Weihnachtsmusikanten - Christmas Musicians

Join me and Anjas Basteltraum design team today to celebrate their Winter 2023 brand new release! So exciting! My card showcases the adorable Christmas musicians from the Weihnachtsmusikanten stamp set, and I'll be back soon with a second card featuring the Draußen vom Walde stamp set, which you can already have a look at on the last picture ^^

I cut the base pieces out of white cardstock, and cut the decorative pieces out of pattern papers from the Happy Holidays 6x6 paper pack by Echo Park.

And as you can see on the pictures, I built a few colorful 3D trees using the new Sommer & Winter Tanne die set to use as decorations around my cards. And when the Christmas season comes, I will display them on my shelves ^^

Holiday Card Series w/ Anjas Basteltraum - Mirror stamping winter scene

Hello there,

Today I'm very happy to be a guest designer for the sweet and lovely brand Anja's Basteltraum. Their new winter release is now available, and to help them celebrate I did some mirror stamping using the cute mouse couple from Holiday on mice.

I started by stamping the skating pond image on white cardstock, and next I did the whole mirror stamping process. I invite you to watch the video below to see how it was done. It's always easier to understand with images ^^

I stamped the cute mouse couple using extreme black ink by My Favorite Things, cut the image using my Scan 'n Cut machine and colored it using my alcohol markers.

Once the coloring was done, I cut the skating pond panel to get a 5,5 x 4,25" panel. And cut a vellum panel measuring the same. I mixed some white acrylic paint with water and splattered droplets on both panels to create falling snow.

I cut a frame out of white cardstock, stuck it on top of the vellum panel. And next I attached this vellum frame directly onto the skating pond background. I stuck the mouse couple using foam squares, and then I stamped my sentiment "Winter Wishes" using black stazon ink which is an ink that doesn't smear on vellum. And finally I glued a few clear droplets here and there as a final touch of shine.
