Craftin Desert Divas - Winter Unicorn

Hello there,

I think everyone should have at least one unicorn stamp set in their stash, it's definitely a must have. We're in the middle of winter so what's cuter than a unicorn wearing leg warmers?

I first started by stamping a bunch of scarves on a bristol smooth panel. Next I simply colored them using my zig markers. I chose soft rainbow colors to make the whole card more cheerful ^^ I colored the unicorn the same way.

I die cut a circle from pink paper, glued it on a piece of vellum, trimmed the excess and attached the whole circle on the right side of my panel. Trimmed the excess again.

I glued a cloud behind my banner sentiment, and attached it at the bottom of the pink circle. And then attached the unicorn on top of that cloud using foam squares.

On the right side of a white card base, I glued a strip of black & white polka dot paper, and next I attached my panel on top of it. Added a bunch of black enamel dots here and there, and applied clear glitter on the unicorn's hair and tail to finish the card.

Craftin Desert Divas - Driving Through Countryside

Hello there,

Still in the middle of Craftin Desert Divas Sneak Peek Week for January Release, so here is the lovely card I made using the new "Classic Cars" stamp set. I also used the fringe die from new "Party Border" die set to make the grass. Wouldn't it be nice to take a ride in the countryside?

I first started by coloring image using zig markers, and fussy cut it.

Then I die cut several elements to build the background: two fringe borders from green pattern paper, one tree border from the same green pattern paper, and I used the same tree border die to die cut different patterns for my trees.

Attached both green fringe borders together, and glued that to a piece of cloud pattern paper. Cut a thin strip of grey cardstock to create the road, and attached it at the bottom of the grass.

Attached the tree border behind the grass, and replaced each foliage. Glued the sentiment in the top right corner. Draw white stitches along the grey piece. Attached the car using foam squares, and simply added clear glitter on her bow before attaching the whole panel to a white card base to finish the card.

Craftin Desert Divas - Party Fringes

Hey there,

Craftin Desert Divas January release is almost there so I'm coming back to share this card showcasing three new supplies: "Sweetest Birthday" stamp set + "Party Time" stencil + "Party Border" dies. This fringe die is definitely my new favorite!

I first started by using my stencil as an embossing folder. And for that I simply placed it on a piece of white cardstock and put it through my big shot. I put an extra piece of cardstock under the other one before so the print of the stencil is nice and crisp.

Then I die cut five fringes from different thin papers. And glued them one on top of the other one on my embossed background. I added a small embossed panel above the fringes to hide the top one.

I die cut a circle from pink paper, glued it on vellum and trimmed the excess. Colored my image using watercolor markers, and fussy cut it. I also framed my sentiment using a small ticket die. Glued all these different pieces on my panel using foam squares.

Attached my panel to a white card base, and added a ton of little stars to finish the card.

Valentine Card - Happy Hearts

Hello there,

Today I'm sharing with you this colorful card featuring two simple techniques but still with beautiful effects: watercoloring + embossing with a stencil.

I first started by embossing my paper using a heart stencil. It is very simple. I just apply the stencil on top of two pieces of cardstock, put everything through my big shot three or four times so I get a nice embossing, and that's it.

Next I colored all the embossed hearts using zig markers.

Attached the panel to a white card base using foam tape. Then I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock, embossed it using white embossing powder, fussy cut around each word, and attached them in the middle of my panel.

Simply added some sequins here and there to finish the card.

Under The Sea Card Series - Deep into the Ocean

Hello there,

Today I'm back to show you the second card I made using liquid pigment inks and alcohol. The process is the same as my first alcohol background card (the one with the flowers ^^), here it is:

I first spayed alcohol on a piece of glossy paper (or photo paper), put some colored drops, sprayed again with alcohol and then moved the paper to mix all the colors together. Put more drops and alcohol, and mixed again. And let the panel dry overnight.

Once I saw the result, I immediately thought of a deep ocean. So from black cardstock, I die cut a coral border, a hill border and another one from a tree border (I just removed the trees), and glued these at the bottom of my panel.

Stamped my sentiment using versamark ink, applied silver powder on top and clean it to reveal a shiny sentiment.

I stamped a cute little mermaid, colored her using my zigs markers, fussy cut her and glued her on my panel. From back cardstock, I also die cut three sea horses, a shell and a starfish. Glued these on the panel.

Attached my panel to a white card base, simply added some sequins here and there and clear glitter to the mermaid hair and tail to finish the card.
