Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #26 - Trio of Baby Cards - DIY Wreath Builder

It's my first time participating in the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, and for this "Card Sets" Challenge #26 I chose to create a trio of baby cards using a stamp set I really love + a homemade wreath builder. These cards also showcase some of my favorite color combos using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

The process is the same for the three cards, so here it is:

I first started by stamping the wreaths using my homemade wreath builder and my misti tool. Using those two tools makes the process so easy.

Once the wreaths were built, I simply colored all the images using my alcohol markers. I added black heart details on some of the clothes, and also colorful little star and flower details.

Then I gold heat embossed the word Welcome in the middle of each wreath and stamped in black ink the rest of the sentiments.

Finally I glued each panel on matching polka dot pattern papers, and attached everything on white card bases.

And as a little bonus, here is a birthday card I made using the same technique and some colors I used on the other cards.

Diorama Card Series - Scuba Diving

Hello there,

Today I'm sharing with you a new diorama card. They're just so easy to make, I just can't help myself ^^ Plus, it helps me to use some untouched stamp sets I have in my stash. Sea and ocean cards are my all time favorites, and this diorama is also perfect for my Under the Sea Card Series!

So I first started by cutting the papers for the base. I inked it using several shades of blue distress inks, going from dark at the bottom to light at the top. When I was happy with the blending, I splattered water on my panel and dried them with a paper towel. Final touch to this base: I cut the top edge using a scalloped border so it gives a nice wave effect.

I die cut two cloud borders that I used as sand borders. Inked them using two shades of brown distress inks. Attached the insert pieces inside my base panel, and glued the sand borders on them using double sided tape.

Then I colored all my images using alcohol markers. I used sea themed stamp sets from Lawn Fawn to get the fishes and sea weeds, and the little guy or girl is from the "Out of this world" set so he or she is supposed to be an astronaut but I thought it would be fun to change the image into a deep sea scuba diver ^^ All the images were cutting using coodinating dies.

Next I assembled everything. All the images were attached using glue dots. The fishes and the turtle were attached to a thin stripe of clear acetate so they would seem to float. And sometimes I add a sentiment to my dioramas, sometimes I don't, well this time I did ^^

Simon Says Stamp - Spring Flowers - No Line Coloring

Hello there,

For this card, I tried something new for me: no line coloring. I know it's a technique a lot of crafters use, but I had never got a chance to try it.

So it's pretty simple: I first started by stamping the image using a light beige ink on bristol smooth cardstock. Then I colored the flowers and leaves by first applying color with the markers and next by spreading it using a wet brush.

I gold heat embossed my sentiment, and added some clear droplets to finish the card.

Diorama Card Series - Wedding in Hawaii

Hey there,

Today I'm back with a new diorama featuring supplies from Craftin Desert Divas. This month mood board is about weddings so I thought a little ceremony scene at sunset would be nice ^^

I first started by cutting the elements to build the base. All the measurements are noted in the video. Then I applied different colors of distress inks on the big panel to create the sunset sky. To add more details, I cut the top of it using a scalloped border die.

Then I die cut more elements to build the scene: the arch was made using an inside scalloped circle and an inside scalloped rectangle and was colored using two shades of brown distress inks, two sand borders that I colored using brown shades and one ocean border that I colored using two shades of blue distress inks.

I also die cut elements to build a flower that I colored using pink color, and two leaves that I colored in green.

Next step: assemble everything. I attached the insert pieces on the left side on my big panel and folded down the right side to finalize and close the diorama. Then I attached all the elements: the ocean and sand borders on the insert pieces, the arch and the happy couple. Applied clear glitter on the flowers, and attached some birds in the background to finish the card.

Lawn Fawn - Fun in the Jungle - Shaker Card

It's been a long time since my last Lawn Fawn card so I'm very excited to share this one with you. And I'm using alcohol markers, it had been a while too, since I was pretty obsessed with my zigs ^^

I had this "Critters in the Jungle" stamp set for a few months and never got a chance to play with.

I first started by stamping and coloring all the images using my alcohol markers, like said above. I got some new colors at Christmas so I tried some new combinations.

On a white card base, I attached a leaf pattern paper panel, and then built the window panel for my shaker. For that, I die cut two windows from a white panel using a rectangle die from the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up die set (by Lawn Fawn). At the back of it, I attached a piece of clear acetate and stripes of double sided foam tape to create dimension. Placed the sequins, and then close the shaker.

Finally, I attached all my images using glue dots.
