Pretty Pink Posh - June 2025 Release Preview - Beach Fun & Summer Icons

samedi 31 mai 2025

Hello there,

I'm super happy to be back with this summer card showcasing a couple of new items from the Pretty Pink Posh June 2025 Release such as the Beach Fun stamp set, the Summer Icons stamp set or the Summer Words stencil.

All the new products will be available on June 5th, and I hope that my card will inspire you and will give you ideas for your summer projects.

As very often, I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut them all, and then used my Ohuhu markers to color everything in a bright and happy summer color palette.

The small images at the top and bottom are from Summer Icons, the ones in the middle are from Beach Fun, and once the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

Next I cut a large Stitched Torn Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, started by covering it with salvaged patina oxide ink, and I added a fun pattern to my panel using the Summer Words stencil along with peacock feathers oxide ink. I splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel, I mixed some peacock feathers oxide ink with water and added more splatters using a slim brush, and then I did the same with copic opaque white ink.

Once my panel was dry, I attached it to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches white panel using 1mm foam tape, next to a white card base using liquid glue, and then I attached all the images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. I created three different greetings to fill the empty spaces using sentiments from Sentiment Strips: Summer. I white heat embossed each of them on colored cardstock, trimmed them into slim banners, and finally attached those banners to my card using foam squares.

Lawn Fawn - Father's Day Pull 'n Slide Card

vendredi 30 mai 2025

Hi there,

I was on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel & Blog a while ago with this cute Father's Day Pull 'n Slide card showcasing, as very often, a mix & match of images from different stamp sets, as well as the mouse family, always ready to join the fun!

I started off by stamping all the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Jet Black ink, I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my alcohol markers.

Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used:

Simply celebrate hangouts - brick wall  Backyard bird feeder - flowers  Simply celebrate critters - group of mice  Kanga-rrific add-on - grass  Toadally awesome - tiny black star  All star - cup, basketball hoop, star, ball, greetings  Treat cart - banners  Treat cart sentiment add-on - tiny hearts  All the speech bubbles - bubbles, small sentiments  You autumn know + Scootin' by + Bubbles of joy + Dandy day + Dandy day flip-flop + Really high five - mice  Coaster critters - flags.

I added highlights and details to my images using a white gel pen, and then moved on to the background. First I cut a Pull 'n Slide panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock and divided it into two sections: a brick wall on the upper part using the Brick stencil along with tumbled glass and broken china oxide ink, and grass at the bottom using mowed lawn and rustic wilderness oxide inks. And on the inside part of the card, I used the Lots Of Stars Background stencil along with shabby shutters and mowed lawn oxide inks.

Please watch the process video down below to get all the details.

Sunny Studio - Everything's Rosy Lattice Shaker Card

jeudi 29 mai 2025

Hello there,

I'm very happy to be back on the Sunny Studio blog with something different than I usually do. I mean, you know that I'm a "the busier the merrier" type of girl with lots and lots of critters. Well, today I'm sharing this floral shaker card showcasing the gorgeous Everything's Rosy stamp set, and I had a blast creating all those beautiful roses and foliage with this layering stamp set!

And speaking of which, I started off by stamping the roses and leaves, using all the layers, along with Lawn Fawn premium dye inks and Altenew crisp dye inks. For the roses, light to dark I used frosty pink (Alt.) + peachy keen (LF) + guava (LF) + lobster (LF) + raspberry (LF). And for the leaves, light to dark I used frayed leaf (Alt.) + forest glades (Alt.) + moss (Alt.)

I cut all the images using the matching dies, mixed some copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters to each rose and piece of greenery, and set them aside to dry. I also cut additional pieces of greenery out of vellum using Spring Greenery dies, added white ink splatters to each piece and set them aside as well for later.

Next I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel, and started by covering it with tattered rose oxide ink. I added a brick pattern to my panel using a brick stencil from stash along with saltwater taffy oxide ink, splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel, mixed some worn lipstick oxide ink with water and added more splatters to the panel, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink.

Once my panel was dry, I cut an opening out of it right in the center using the second largest Stitched Rectangle die, kept the frame piece only, and added a piece of acetate at the back of my brick frame using liquid glue. And I wanted my roses to be climbing up on a lattice, so I cut three white panels using the same die I used to create the opening, and cut a lattice design out of each white panel using the Frilly Frame Lattice die set. I layered the three lattice panels on top of each other using liquid glue to create a little bit of dimension, and then attached my lattice panel in the middle of my brick panel, right on the acetate using liquid glue again.

I flipped my brick panel over, added foam strips along the opening, close to the edges, and on the edges of the panel as well. I poured a lot of Pink Blossoms confetti inside the acetate opening, peeled all the foam strips backing papers off, and then closed my shaker panel with a Flirty Flowers pink panel.

Next, back to the front of the brick panel. Along with my climbing roses, I wanted to add some extra foliage, so I cut a Botanical Backdrop panel out of green cardstock, added some rustic wilderness oxide ink to darken some spots, mixed that same ink with water and added splatters to the leaves, did the same with copic opaque white ink, and attached this leafy panel to my brick panel using 1mm foam squares.

Before attaching the roses and leaves, I wanted to frame my panel with wood, so I used the Tropical Trees die set to cut my frame out of light brown woodgrain cardstock, attached it to my panel using liquid glue, and then finally stuck the roses and leaves using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and the vellum greenery using liquid glue. For my greeting, I white heat embossed "Miss you" from Big Bold Greetings on dark brown cardstock, cut it using the matching die, and attached it to my panel using foam squares again. I attached my panel to a white card base, and to finish my card I added a scattering of clear droplets from my stash for shine and brightness.

Lawn Fawn - Magical Pull 'n Slide Card

mardi 27 mai 2025

Hi there,

I'm super happy to be back on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel & Blog with this magical Pull 'n Slide card featuring beautiful rainbows, two sweet unicorns and many fairies having fun up in the clouds.

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Jet Black ink. I cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers. As always, here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used:  All The Clouds - clouds, big and small rainbows  A Little Sparkle - unicorn, fairies  My Rainbow - rainbow  Unicorn Picnic - unicorn, long cloud, fairies.

Once the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

I cut three panels out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using the Pull 'n Slide die set: the main panel panel, the pull tab panel, and the inside panel. I worked on the main panel first, masked the stitched details on the edges using washi tape, covered the entire panel with salvaged patina oxide ink, and then added clouds to my panel using the Stratus Cloud Background stencil along with peacock feathers oxide ink. I splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel. I mixed some peacock feathers oxide ink with water and used a slim brush to add blue splatters to the panel, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink.

Next I worked on the pull tab panel, masked the stitched details on the edges as well, and created the same cloudy background as the one I did on the main panel. And then, I cut a 4,75 x 3,5 inches panel (same measurements as the main panel) and again, I created the same background on that panel.

I assembled my Pull 'n Slide panel very easily, and I invite you to watch the process video down below to get all the details. And when it was done, I attached the images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. I cut the decorative handle out of Mermaid cardstock and Shimmery Aqua (Gemstone pack) cardstock, folded the main piece on the score line, and then attached both pieces at the top of the pull tab panel using liquid glue.

Next I created the card base and cut three different panels: a large Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables panel out of Holographic cardstock, a large Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables panel out of Shimmery Aqua cardstock, and a Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables panel out of Mermaid cardstock. I layered and attached those three panels on top of each other using liquid glue, stuck my interactive panel on top using 1mm foam tape, and then the whole thing to a white card base using liquid glue.

Pretty Pink Posh - Construction Trucks & Watercolor Stenciled Background

samedi 24 mai 2025

Hi there,

I'm thrilled to be back with this Construction Trucks card I made using multiple images from two different Pretty Pink Posh stamp sets, as well as stencils to create a cool construction scenery.

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Memento tuxedo black ink, I cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers. Here is the list of the images I used:  Construction Trucks - trucks, piles of dirt, security cones  Construction Additions - shovels, security fences, danger sign, piles of rocks.

I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and then worked on the background, starting off by cutting a large Stitched Torn Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock. I temporarily stuck the middle part of the Watercolor Rectangle stencil set to my panel using pieces of rolled-up washi tape at the back of the stencil, and worked on the outside section of my panel, applying pumice stone oxide ink first, and then a little bit of frayed burlap oxide ink to darken the edges.

Next I placed the Brick Background stencil on top of my panel, applied vintage photo oxide ink first, and then a little bit of ground espresso oxide ink to darken the bricks on the very edge of the panel. I removed the Brick Background stencil, splattered water and dried the panel with a paper towel, mixed some ground espresso oxide ink with water and used a slim brush to add more splatters to the bricks.

I removed the middle part of the Watercolor Rectangle stencil set, temporarily taped the frame part of the Watercolor Rectangle stencil set to my panel, and then worked on the middle part of my panel. I first applied pumice stone oxide ink all over that middle section, and then frayed burlap oxide ink (+ a little bit of vintage photo oxide ink) on the edges to add more depth and emphasize the sand/dirt effect. I splattered water and dried the panel with a paper towel, mixed some frayed burlap oxide ink and some vintage photo oxide ink with water and added more splatters. And then I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water and added white ink splatters all over my Stitched Torn Rectangle panel.

Once my panel was dry, I stamped "You are tons of fun" from Construction Additions right in the center of my panel using black versafine ink, and then I attached all the images using, as always, 1mm and 2mm foam squares. I stuck my panel to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches dark brown panel using 1mm foam tape, and finally the whole panel to a white card base using liquid glue.

Sunny Studio - Bee Themed Slimline Card

jeudi 22 mai 2025

Hello there,

I'm super happy to be back with this extra buzzzy slimline card featuring Mr Bear and his bee friends. Another mix & match that I very much enjoyed working on.

I started off by stamping the images on 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I used the coordinating dies to cut them all and then colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and Graph’it brush markers. Browns and greens for the branches, and of course a black and yellow color palette for the bees, beehives and Mr Bear's accessories.

Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used:  Just Bee-Cause - bees, beehives  Holiday Hugs - bear  Little Birdie - branches  Garden Critters - watering can  Chubby Bunny + Chickie Baby - flowers.

Once the coloring was done, I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and moved on to the background. I cut a 7,75 x 2,75 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel using the stitched mat die from the Slimline Scalloped Frame die set, and I covered the entire panel with clouds using a cloudy stencil from my stash along with salvaged patina and peacock feathers oxide inks. I splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel, mixed some copic opaque white ink with water and added more splatters to the panel using a slim brush, and then I did the same with peacock feathers oxide ink for more contrast.

I used the same slimline die as my main panel to cut two pieces out of green cardstock, and cut a grass border out of each piece using a die from the Picket Fence die set. I added a little bit of rustic wilderness oxide ink to the edges of both borders, mixed a little bit of that same ink with water and added green splatters to the borders, as well as white ink splatters, and then I white heat embossed "Just bee-cause" from Just Bee-Cause on the smallest grass border.

I assembled and attached everything to my panel, starting at the very bottom with the largest grass border first using 1mm foam squares. Next I stuck Mr Bear using the same foam adhesives, added the small grass border on the foreground using 2mm foam squares, and then attached the rest of the images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares again.

Next I created the card base and first cut a slimline scalloped panel out of dark gray cardstock using another die from the Slimline Scalloped Frame die set, I cut an 8 x 3 inches white slimline panel that I attached to the scalloped panel using 1mm foam tape, and stuck my scene panel to the white panel using liquid glue. I attached the whole thing to an 8,5 x 3,5 inches dark yellow card base, and to complete my card, I applied white blizzard nuvo drops to the bees wings to make them sparkle.

Pretty Pink Posh - Coffee, Chocolate & Biscuits

mercredi 21 mai 2025

Hello there,

I'm so happy to be back with this monochromatic coffee themed shaker card featuring the Teacup Shaker die from the Pretty Pink Posh May 2025 Release, as well as previously released items I used to create a cute and lovely little scene. I usually create monochromatic cards during the Fall or Halloween seasons, so it was fun to work with all those shades of beige and brown to create this shaker card.

I started off by cutting a large Eyelet Rectangle panel out of kraft cardstock, and I created a fun background using the Layered Teacups stencils. With stencil #1 I used vintage photo oxide ink, and with stencil #2 I used ground espresso oxide ink. I splattered water all over the panel and dried it with a paper towel, mixed a little bit of ground espresso oxide ink with water and used a slim brush to add more splatters to my panel, and then I did the same with copic opaque white ink for brightness and contrast, and also with vintage photo distress spritz for sparkles. Next I cut a large Eyelet Circle panel out of vellum, added the same white ink splatters and vintage photo distress spritz splatters, and then set my two panels aside to dry.

Once they were dry, I attached my Eyelet Rectangle panel to a 5,5 x 4,25 inches dark brown panel using 1mm foam tape, next the whole thing to a white card base, and then I stuck my Eyelet Circle vellum panel to the card using a couple of 1mm foam squares in the middle.

Next I worked on the Teacup Shaker and built it following those steps:

1. Cut a Teacup Shaker frame out of brown gingham pattern paper
2. Cut a whole Teacup Shaker out dark brown cardstock, trimmed the handle and glued to the gingham teacup
3. Cut a whole Teacup Shaker out of clear acetate, and attached my gingham teacup frame to it using liquid glue
4. Flipped my teacup over and added foam strips all along the edges of the cup, following its shape, and at the back of the handle as well
5. Poured a whole bunch of Chocolate shaker beads inside the teacup
6. Cut a whole Teacup Shaker out of a beige pattern paper, peeled all the backing papers off the foam strips, and attached that beige teacup to the foam strips to totally close the Teacup Shaker.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock, and applied matching distress ink to the edges of each element to darken them a little bit more and give them more interest. I also mixed those same matching distress inks with water and added splatters to each piece, and then I did the same with copic opaque white ink and added white ink splatters on all the elements.

Here is a detailed list of the die sets I used:  Valentine Mug Additions - spoon, chocolate, coffee beans  Candy Treats - chocolate cookie  Stitched Hearts - heart waffle  Big Valentine Cupcake - whipped cream  Birthday Mug Additions - rolled cookie.

Next I attached everything to my card using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, liquid glue and 3mm glue dots. I white heat embossed "Hello friend" from Friend Greetings on brown cardstock, cut it using the matching die, added a little bit of matching distress ink on the edges, and attached it on the cup using 2mm foam squares. And to finish my card, I applied glossy accents to the hearts on the cream and spoon, and also on the chocolate.

Pretty Pink Posh - Spring Tulips Shaker Card

lundi 19 mai 2025

Hello there,

I'm very happy to be back with this lovely Spring themed shaker card showcasing products from the Pretty Pink Posh March 2025 Release, as well as a few more from previous years. When I saw the Tulip Shaker, I immediately pictured a tulip themed card with a shaker mug. I love how cute and pretty it turned out, and I hope that it inspires you to mix your products to create amazing projects.

I started off by working on the background components. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches panel out of kraft cardstock and used the Springtime Borders stencils to create a tulip background. There are also carrots and daisies on those stencils, so I simply masked those sections off with washi tape, and created rows of pink and yellow tulips all over the panel using oxide inks: for the pink tulips I used spun sugar and worn lipstick, for the yellow tulips I used fossilized amber, and for the greenery I used mowed lawn and rustic wilderness. I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters on my panel, and set it aside to dry.

I cut a large Scallop Frame out of brown woodgrain cardstock, added a little bit of vintage photo distress ink to the edges, mixed some of that same ink with water and added splatters to the frame, did the same with white ink, and set the frame aside with my panel to dry. Next I cut a 4 inches wide piece of green cardstock and cut two Grass Borders out of it: the first one about 1 inch tall, and the second one about 2 inches tall. I added a little bit of rustic wilderness distress ink to the sprigs and splatters as well, and again, set them aside to dry.

Once all the elements above were dry, I assembled them. I attached the slim Grass Border at the very bottom of the back of the Scallop Frame using liquid glue, stuck the tall Grass Border behind the first one using 2mm foam squares, added 2mm foam strips at the back of the Scallop Frame on the four sides, and centered the frame on my Springtime Borders panel.

Next I worked on the shaker mug, and built it just like the shaker tags I often create. Here are the different steps:
1. Cut a Winter Mug out of orange plaid pattern paper, and used the tulip window die from Spring Mug Additions to cut an opening in my mug
2. Cut a Winter Mug out of acetate, and attached it at the back of the orange mug using liquid glue
3. Still at the back of the mug, added 2mm foam strips all around the tulip window and on the rest of the mug as well
4. Poured a bunch of Sugar Pop shaker beads inside the tulip window
5. Cut another Winter Mug out of yellow pattern paper, and stuck it to the foam strips to totally close the shaker mug
6. Cut one more Winter Mug out of yellow cardstock, added a little bit of fossilized amber distress ink to the edges and splatters, trimmed the handle and stuck it to the orange mug using liquid glue

I cut all the bits and pieces, tulips, bows, etc. out of pattern papers and cardstock, added matching distress ink to the edges of the cardstock pieces, matching splatters and white splatters as well, and once everything was dry, I assembled the different elements using 1mm foam squares and liquid glue.

Here is a detailed list of the dies I used to create the large tulip:  Tulip Shaker - large tulip  Big Easter Cupcake - heart cheeks, smile  Easter Mug Additions - eyes  Easter Bucket Additions - bow.

And here is a detailed list of the ones I used to decorate the shaker mug:  Spring Mug Additions - soil  Big Easter Cupcake - tulip (in the middle)  Easter Bucket Additions - tulips (on the sides). I also cut and assembled five butterflies out of vellum and dark gray cardstock using dies from Spring Mug Additions.

I attached everything to my Springtime Borders panel, starting with the Winter Mug and the Tulip Shaker that I tucked between the Grass Borders and stuck using foam squares. I planted three tulips in the mug, gave the tulip a cute face and a bow, and added fluttering butterflies here and there. Next I stamped three different greetings on colored cardstock: "Hello friend" from Mouse Friends on brown cardstock, "Happy Spring" from Easter Greetings on pink cardstock, and "Sending a springtime hello" from Sentiment Strips: Easter on yellow cardstock. I cut them using the matching dies and Sentiment Strips dies, added a little bit of matching distress ink to the edges, and then attached them to the card using foam squares. Finally I added details to the butterflies bodies using a white gel pen, and applied white blizzard nuvo drops to the edges of their wings for a nice sparkling touch.
