[IG HOP DAY 5] Pretty Pink Posh - A Teddy Bear & a Cupcake for Valentine's Day

I'm so happy to be back with this sweet Valentine themed card showcasing items from the Pretty Pink Posh January 2026 Release. Such an exciting new collection of Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day products, ranging from ladybugs, shamrocks, shaker dies, and much more! These products will elevate your projects to a whole new level of fun and creativity!

I started off by cutting a large Pinking Rectangle panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I covered the stitched edges with washi tape, and then applied spun sugar oxide ink all over my panel. Next I used the Half Hearts stencils to create a beautiful and fun pattern on my panel: with the stencil A I applied worn lipstick oxide ink, and with the stencil B I applied candied apple oxide ink. I mixed some copic opaque white ink with water and added white splatters all over my piece of paper, I did the same with liquid stardust, and then the same again with candied apple oxide ink. I peeled off the washi tape and set my panel aside to dry.

I cut a 5,5" x 4,25" red panel, attached it to a white card base using liquid glue, and once my Pinking Rectangle panel was dry, I stuck it to the red panel using 1mm foam tape.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock, white cardstock and pearlescent vellum. I went for a huge mix & match of old and new things to create this card, so here is a detailed list of the die sets I used:

♥ Bear Holder - bear (ears, nose, mouth, belly), white heart ♥ Big Easter Cupcake - paws ♥ Big Valentine Cupcake - cupcake wrap, cupcake, whipped cream, small roses and leaves ♥ Box Of Chocolates - heart chocolate and wrap paper ♥ Ladybug Shaker - heart cheeks ♥ Valentine Holder Additions - large rose and leaves ♥ Valentine Mug Additions - collar ♥ Easter Mug Additions - bow tie ♥ Big Christmas Cupcake - large bow ♥ Stitched Hearts - pink heart.

I added liquid stardust splatters to the whipped cream, white splatters and liquid stardust splatters to the large bow, roses, collar, bow tie and pink heart, I added white splatters and matching distress ink splatters to the cupcake wrap paper and leaves, and added matching distress ink splatters only to the cupcake itself.

I assembled everything, starting with my teddy bear, his big googly eyes, large paws, cute bow tie and yummy heart chocolate. Next the cupcake with all the roses on the whipped cream and big bow around the wrapping paper. I attached the cupcake to my card first using 1mm foam squares, and then the bear using 2mm foam squares, leaving enough space at the bottom for my greeting.

I used the Love You Shadow die set, but picked only "Love". I cut the word three times out of red cardstock and stuck them all on top of each other to get dimension. Next I cut the shadow piece out of pearlescent vellum, stuck "Love" to that vellum piece using liquid glue, and then attached the whole element to the card using a couple of 2mm foam squares. I cut a Banner Greeting 2 out of pink cardstock, white heat embossed "Forever & always" from Valentine Banner Greetings on that banner, folded it on the score lines and attached the banner right below "Love" using 2mm foam squares again.

For the final details: I applied glossy accents to my Bear Holder nose, white blizzard nuvo drops to his heart cheeks, glossy accents again to the icing on the chocolate and to the word "Love" as well, and I picked a white heart confetti from the Sweet Xoxo mix and stuck it to the bow tie using liquid glue.
