Lawn Fawn - Lots Of Heart Week 2026 - Valentine Bunnies

jeudi 15 janvier 2026

Hello there,

It's Lots Of Hearts Week at Lawn Fawn, and I'm super happy to be back with this lovely Valentine themed card featuring the cutest bunnies, all gathered to tell someone how much they love them. Make sure to check the Lawn Fawn Blog and comment on each of the daily posts to enter the daily giveaways!

Customers can enjoy 15% off select Valentine's and heart-themed items by shopping a discounted collection. No code is needed.

I started off by cutting a large Postage Rectangle Stackables panel out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock, I placed the matching stencil on top and covered my panel with spun sugar oxide ink. Next I used the Lots Of Hearts Background stencils to create a pretty pattern: with stencil #1 I applied worn lipstick oxide ink and with stencil #2 I applied candied apple oxide ink. Next I mixed copic opaque white ink with water and used a slim brush to add splatters all over my panel, and then did the same with Liquid Stardust. And once my panel was dry, I attached it to a 5,5" x 4,25" Guava panel using 1mm foam tape, and then to a white card base.

Next I cut two small postage panels out of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock using a die from Little Letter, masked the stitched edges with washi tape, covered both panels with spun sugar oxide ink, and then used the Falling Hearts stencils along with worn lipstick and candied apple oxide inks to add lots of tiny hearts to my panels. Next I added white splatters and sparkling splatters to both of them, and when they were dry, I stamped a greeting from Henry's Build A Sentiment Love on each panel using Jet Black ink.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces out of colored cardstock (Tomato, Ballet Slippers, Guava, 80lb White, Kraft, Chocolate Bar, Paper Bag, Storm Cloud, Pearlescent), out of Pearlescent Vellum and Vellum, and as always, here is a detailed list of the die sets I used:

Build A Bunny - bunnies  Build A Critter Valentine Accessories - wings  Build A Critter Winter Accessories - bunny tails  Build A Critter Christmas Accessories - headbands  Build A Drink Mason Jar Add-On - bow ties  Tiny Gift Box Dog Add-On - bunny noses  Hearts & Stars Skinny Tag - smallest hearts, scattering of hearts  Little Letter - enveloppe, largest heart.

I assembled the bunnies using liquid glue and foam squares, folded the enveloppe and "sealed" it with a red heart. I cut a rectangle panel out of vellum using the 2nd Largest Stitched Rectangle Stackables die, temporarily taped it to my card using washi tape, and then stuck everything using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and liquid glue. When all the elements were attached, I removed the washi tape, added liquid glue at the back of the vellum panel, right behind the bunnies, enveloppes, etc. and stuck my vellum panel to the card.

For the final details, I applied glossy accents to the red hearts, heart cheeks and bunny noses, white blizzard nuvo drops to the dark pink hearts, and glued a red heart confetti from my stash in the center of each bow tie.
