Birthday Card - Pastry Shop - Shaker Card

Hello there,

Here is the second card I made using the brand new "Me Time" stamp set. Seeing this image, I immediately thought of make her walk in the street and passing by a pastry shop ^^

I first started by cutting a rectangle in the middle of a white panel to create the window, then I embossed that panel using a brick wall embossing folder, and at the back of the panel, I attached a piece of clear acetate. To finish the window, I attached a thin stripe of white cardstock at the back of the scalloped rectangle frame, and finally glued that frame in place.

Attached several stripes of double sided foam tape at the back of my window panel to make room for the sequins. Put clear sequins, and then close the shaker using a panel of pastry pattern paper.

I cut the awning from yellow striped pattern paper using a small scalloped die, and attached at the top of my panel. Also attached the ground at the bottom, and added some white stitched lines for more cute details.

Colored the image using my zig markers, and attached my panel on a white card base. I die cut the word Happy twice: one from pink cardstock, and one from foam. Glued both pieces together, and attached the element on the awning.

Attached my image, and the second piece of my sentiment right under the awning, and appied glossy accents on the word Happy to add more shine and finish the card.

Easter Card - Painter Bunnies

Hey there,

Back with another Easter Card featuring the new "Stitched Alpha" die set + the new "Jellybean Kisses" stamp set. This card is pretty simple, that's why I used colorful pattern papers to make it cute.

I first started by picking several pattern papers, and from them I die cut all the letters I needed. I also cut the same letters from a sheet of white foam so everything could be dimensional. Glued each paper letter on a foam letter.

Then I stamped, fussy cut and colored two cute little Easter bunnies using zig markers.

On a white panel, I traced a thin frame along the edges using a light grey marker, and next I simply attached all the letters using liquid glue, and the bunnies using foam squares. And I simply added white drops at the corner to finish the card.

Easter Card - Egg Hunt

Hello there,

Here are three colorful tags I made using several CDD items, including the new "Jellybean Kisses" stamp set and the new "Sorted Shapes 2" stencil. I think those tags would be perfect attached to chocolate bunnies or chocolate eggs for the traditional children egg hunt!

The process is the same for each tag, here it is.

1. Started by cutting three random egg shapes from bristol smooth cardstock.

2. Applied distress ink on each little panel ; I chose three different bright colors and kept that color scheme for eveything.

3. Die cut three grass borders from green cardstock, and attached them at the bottom of my tags.

4. Die cut three balloon borders from white cardstock, and colored the three balloons in the middle using alcohol markers.

5. Attached these borders at the top of the tags, making sure the colored balloons were centered, and then trimmed the excess. I also popped up the balloons using foam squares, added white touches on them for highlights, and then applied glossy accents to make them shine.

6. Uisng the same color combo, I colored my images using zig markers, and attached them on each tag. I made sure each hair matched each balloon in the middle.

7. For the top of each tag, I simply punched a little whole, and glued colored rings previously made using distress inks and a 1cm punch.

8. Stamped my sentiment three times, framed them using an oval die and attached them to each tag using twine.

9. Finally I glued some sequins for more shine.

Craftin Desert Divas - Happy Me

Hello there,

Today I'm back to showcase this adorable new stamp set called "Me Time". It's all about us ladies who sometimes have hard times finding time for ourselves! It's also perfect if you have a planner! I'm not a planner lady but I still really like this set, and decided to make a planner card ^^

I first started by coloring the images using my zig markers. From a sheet of foam and two shades of pink pattern papers, I die cut the words "happy" and "me", and glued each matching piece together.

Found three little planner cards in my stash, glued my images on them, and attached these three elements on a cork pattern paper using double sided foam tape. Also glued the big words in place above the images

I glued some enamel dots here and there to add more fun and colors to my panel. Attached it on a white card base, and finally applied glossy accents on "happy" for one last touch of shine.

Craftin Desert Divas - Believe

Hey there,

It's that time of the month again: Craftin Desert Divas new release! All the February supplies will be available very soon, so here is my first card showcasing the new "Gnomie" stamp set.

I first started by creating the sky. And for that, I masked a circle in the top middle part of my bristol panel, and then applied different colors of distress inks, going from the circle to the outside. Removed the circle mask, die cut a hill border from bristol cardstock and applied green and black distress inks on it.

From black cardstock, I die cut two trees, and glued them together. Then I colored my images using zig markers. I tried to have a light hand on the parts that were supposed to be "touched" by the moon.

I drew some white dots on the sky to make stars, and then I glued all the elements in place. Stamped my sentiment using a stamp from another set, and finally attached my panel to a black card base.
