Sunny Studio - Beautiful Bluebells Shaker Card

I'm very happy to be back on Sunny Studio's blog with this elegant and pretty shaker card showcasing the Beautiful Bluebells that I stamped using pinks and reds instead of the traditional blues and purples.

I started off by creating my shaker background, and first cut a Frilly Frame Lattice panel out of white woodgrain cardstock. I also cut a 4,75 x 3,5 inches acetate panel that I attached at the back of my lattice panel using double sided tape, and added foam strips directly on the four edges of the acetate panel. I poured a bunch of 3mm clear sequins on the acetate, and then attached a 5,5 x 4,25 inches light pink panel to the foam strips to close my shaker. And I attached my panel to a matching card base.

For my greeting, I first cut a Scalloped Oval Mat 1 red panel that I stuck in the middle of my Frilly Frame Lattice panel using 2mm foam squares. Next I gold heat embossed my sentiment from Inside Greetings Congrats on a Stitched Oval 2 white panel that I attached on top of the red scalloped oval panel using 1mm foam squares.

Next I stamped a bunch of Beautiful Bluebells on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Altenew crisp dye inks: frosty pink + coral berry + ruby red + warm sunshine for the flowers, and frayed leaf + forest glades. I used the matching dies to cut them all, and then attached everything above and below the greeting using foam squares and liquid glue. I finished my card by adding clear droplets here and there.

Pretty Pink Posh - Mice & Strawberries - Coloring on Kraft Cardstock

I'm happy to be back with this lovely spring card featuring a mix and match of Pretty Pink Posh stamp sets. I picked several strawberry themed images from different sets (listed down below) and had so much fun creating the background.

I've been really liking coloring on kraft cardstock lately, and this is what I did on this card. I started off by stamping all my images on kraft cardstock by Lawn Fawn using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, I cut them all using the coordinating dies, and colored everything using my alcohol markers, with lots of reds, obviously, as well as greens and browns.

Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Mouse Friends for the mice, strawberries • Fruit Borders for the strawberry borders • Valentine Cupcakes for the cupcake • Sweet Chocolates for the hearts • Jungle Friends + Fresh Berries for the leaves

Next I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches kraft panel, and used the Layered Strawberries stencils along with oxide inks to create my background. For the strawberries, I used candied apple, lumberjack plaid, mowed lawn, rustic wilderness and hickory smoke. For the leaves, I used mowed lawn and rustic wilderness. And for the flowers, I used squeezed lemonade and mustard seed. Next I added texture to my panel, starting with water droplets that I dried using a paper towel. I also mixed some vintage photo oxide ink with water and used a small brush to make splatters on my panel, and then did the same with copic opaque white ink.

I white heat embossed my "You're berry sweet" greeting from Fresh Berries on yellow cardstock, trimmed it into a slim banner using a Sentiment Strips die, and then attached everything on my panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. I added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and finished my card with some white blizzard nuvo drops on the hearts to make them sparkle.

Sunny Studio - Big Bunny Easter Card

I'm very happy to be back on Sunny Studio's blog with this lovely Easter card featuring the adorable Big Bunny and cute chickie friends. Another colorful card just as I like them to be!

I started off by stamping all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I used the matching dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and my Graph'it brush markers.

And as very often, I mixed and matched images from different sets:

• Big Bunny for the bunny, Easter basket, bow

• Chickie Baby for the chicks, bunny ears, eggs

• Chubby Bunny for the chocolate bunnies, flowers, banner, egg

• Bunnyville for a flower

For my background, I cut a few pieces, starting with a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Spring Fever floral panel that I attached on a white card base. Next I cut a light brown woodgrain scalloped rectangle using the Frilly Frames Hexagon main die, and cut an opening out of it using the second Stitched Rectangle die in order to create a frame.

I also cut a grass border out of a Spring Fever green polka dot paper using a Picket Fence die, attached that grass border at the back of my frame at the very bottom using 1mm foam squares, and then stuck my whole frame on the card base using 2mm foam squares. I attached everything on the card using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and added highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen.

Lawn Fawn - Veggie Happy Tomato House

I'm thrilled to be back on Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel & Blog today with this slimline card that features two of my favorite things: a stenciled background and lots of images! As you can see, the mice family is back, and this time they're busy in the garden, taking care of the new patch and picking the ripe tomatoes.

I started off by stenciling a lovely landscape on an 8,5 x 3,5 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel that I divided in three parts: a soil/muddy section at the bottom, hills in the middle, and the sky at the top. To make the soil section, I used antique linen and vintage photo oxide inks, to make the hills I used shabby shutters, mowed lawn and rustic wilderness oxide inks along with a Slimline Hillside stencil, and to make the sky I used tumbled glass and broken china oxide inks along with a Slimline Cloudy stencil.

Next I cut all the bits and pieces to build my tomato house out of different colored cardstock using the Pumpkin House, Mushroom House and Outside In Stitched Strawberry die sets:

• Chili Pepper for the tomato • Algea for the leaves and stem • Tide Pool for the door • Fog for the chimney • Light Brown Woodgrain for the door and windows • Sticky Note for the light inside the house

And I cut the Little Farm Fence out of White Woodgrain cardstock.

Next I stamped all my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using Jet Black ink, I used the matching dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my alcohol markers.

Pretty Pink Posh - Butterfly Hugs & Kisses

Hello there,

I'm very happy to be back with this new card showcasing some items from the Pretty Pink Posh March 2024 Release. This card features stamped and die cut elements, a stenciled background, and as very often I went for a bright and colorful palette.

I first created my Layered Butterfly Floral background on a 5,5 x 4,25 inches Strathmore bristol smooth panel with a soft ink blended base using, from the top to the bottom: shaded lilac, salvaged patina and shabby shutters oxide inks. Next I used the first three stencils, and one after the other, applied wilted violet, peacock feathers and mowed lawn oxide inks for a tone on tone look.

Next I added texture to my panel. I splattered water all over it that I dried using a paper towel. I also mixed white ink with water and used a small brush to make splatters on the panel, and then did the same with black soot oxide ink.

Next I stamped three Decorative Butterflies on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock using dye inks. For the purple butterfly, I used fresh lavender for the base and grape jelly for the details (both inks by Lawn Fawn) For the aqua butterfly I used mermaid for the base and peacock for the details (both inks by Lawn Fawn) And the for the green butterfly I used frayed leaf for the base and forest glades for the details (both inks by Altenew) I used jet black ink by Lawn Fawn to stamp the bodies, cut the pieces using the matching dies and set them aside.

I cut four different Stitched Butterflies out of colored cardstock that match the background, and to make those butterflies stand out even more on the panel, I cut them again out of silver glitter cardstock. I cut the bodies out of black cardstock, as well as some tiny butterflies using a Butterfly Cover Plate die.

I assembled the stamped butterflies and the die cut ones, and attached everything on my panel using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. I silver heat embossed my "Hugs & kisses" greeting from Sentiment Strips: Valentine on white cardstock, trimmed it into a slim banner using a Sentiment Strips die, and then attached it on my panel using foam squares again. And I felt like those butterflies needed something else, so I glued matching pearls on their wings.
