Isabel Cristina Stamps - Happy Purrday

 Hey there,

Today I'm back with a super colorful birthday or purrday card featuring a sweet kitty from the Birthday Cats digital stamp set designed by Isabel Cristina stamps.

I started with the background and cut a sunburst background that I divided into 12 sections, and I used scattered straw, tattered rose, spiced marmalade, ripe persimmon, picked raspberry, seedless preserves distress inks to color that background.

Once my panel was all covered, I splattered water droplets that I dried using a paper towel, and next to add more texture, I mixed some spiced marmalade, picked raspberry and seedless preserves distress inks with water and created a bunch of splatters on the paper using a small brush. And one last final detail, I mixed a tiny bit of white acrylic paint with water and once again I used my small brush to create a lot of dots on my panel.

Next step was to color the image. I printed the image on 80lbs neenah solar white cardstock using my Epson xp225 printer, cut it using my Scan 'n Cut and then colored it using my alcohol markers.

Once my image was done, I attached my panel on a light yellow card base, applied foam squares right in the center and then stuck a shimmery yellow circle on that middle part. I also attached the kitty cat and cake on top of that circle using foam squares again, and then for my sentiment, I cut some letters and created the words Happy Purrday. Attached those letters above and below the image, and then to make them super shiny, I applied a coat of glossy accents on top of them. Finally I glued a few clear sequins here and there for an extra touch of shine.

Isabel Cristina Stamps - Flower Shop Shutter Card

 Hi there,

I'm back today with a cute little scene showcasing two digital stamp set designed by Isabel Cristina Stamps, the Flower Store set that includes lots of flowers and lovely bunnies, and the Vintage Store set that includes four amazing store fronts, as well as furniture and accessories to set a scene.

As always I printed all my images on 80lbs Neenah solar white cardstock using my Epson xp 225 printer, cut them all using my Scan 'n Cut and colored everything using my alcohol markers.

When everything was colored, I created the background: I cut a panel out of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock using the Shutter Card die set by Lawn Fawn, taped it to my glass surface with a brick stencil on top and created a brick wall using shabby shutters distress ink.

Next I picked a stencil with a straight edge in my stash, and taped it on top of my brick panel in order to create the floor using frayed burlap distress ink.

And then I filled the card with all my cute images that I attached using glue dots. When everything was glued where I wanted, I get rid of the tabs at the top and bottom of the panel, and then folded both sides of my shutter panel.

Next step was to decorate the sides on the outside using green plaid pattern paper. To keep the card closed, I created a sleeve using a die from the Shutter Card die set and slid the closed shutter panel inside that sleeve. I applied double sided tape on the sleeve, and then attached my store front to finally totally complete my flower shop shutter card.

Isabel Cristina Stamps - Mini Fairies Slider Surprise Card

 Hi there,

Today's card is a slider surprise card that showcases the lovely Bella Mini Fairies digital stamp set designed by Isabel Cristina stamps. This set was released this month, along with some other super cute sets, including the awesome It's Movie Night set that I used to create the card below. The little guys at the bottom are from that set, and I mixed it with the amazing Talking Toys set to really get into the movie theme.

Isabel has a bunch of movie and tv series related sets in her etsy shop, they're all coordinates perfectly with the It's Movie Night set so you might want to check those out!

Back to today's card. I used most of the images from Bella Mini Fairies, but to brighten up the scene I used some images from other sets. And you will find all the details below the video at the end of this blog post.

I printed all the images on 80lbs Neenah solar white cardstock using my Epson xp-225, cut them all using my Scan 'n cut machine, and coloed everything using my alcohol markers.

Next I moved on to the interactive part of the card and cut three different panels out of strathmore bristol cardstock: a slider panel using the slider surprise die set by My Favorite Things, a simple rectangle measuring the same as the slider panel, and a pull tab panel using another die from the Slider surprise die set.

I started with the slider panel. I used a cloud stencil along with tumbled glass distress ink to create a simple sky. And at the bottom I used shabby shutters and mowed lawn distress inks to create grass.

Added some texture to the sky section by mixing tumbled glass and salty ocean distress inks with water and creating splatters on the paper.to create texture on my panel, but to me it definitely needed a little more contrast so I also used some salty ocean distress ink. And I did the same thing on the grass section using the same green inks as before.

Next I wanted the inside panel to also have clouds and I wanted them to be coordinated so I tape the simple rectangle panel on my desk. I placed the slider panel on top, and the stencil on top, made sure that I was placing the stencil on the right cloud section, removed the slider panel, and then applied tumbled glass distress ink on my simple rectangle panel. And I did the same process to cover the entire panel.

And I also created the same cloud pattern on the pull tab panel.

Next I assembled my three elements, and I started by folding the score lines on the slider panel. I applied double sided sticky tape at the back of the slim rectangle, peeled the backing paper off, made sure that my slider panel was laying flat on my desk, and stuck the pull tab panel at the back of it, making sure to have the rounded edges on the notch side.

I applied foam sticky tape all around the pull tab panel and then attached it to the remaining panel. And next it was time to assemble and stick all my cute images on that slider panel using glue dots and also foam squares.

I stamped my sentiment as well as an arrow at the top of the pull tab panel, and finally I applied some glitter on the fairies wings and butterflies and white nuvo drops in the middle of each flower.

Isabel Cristina Stamps - Tooth Fairy Shaker Card

 Hey there,

I'm back today with a shaker card, it's been a while, showcasing the adorable Bella Tooth Fairy digital stamp set designed by Isabel Cristina Stamps.

As always when I use digital stamps, I printed my images on 80lbs Neenah solar white cardstock using my Epson xp225, I cut them all using my Scan 'n cut machine, and then colored everything using my alcohol markers.

When it was done, I moved on to the shaker panel. I started with a rainbow 8,5 x 3,5" panel, and from that panel I die cut a three flap panel.

At the back of that three flap panel, I attached a clear acetate panel and next stuck strips of foam tape all around the windows at the back of the panel.

On a slimline card base, I attached another rainbow themed panel, placed some coin images and sequins on the panel and next attached the three flap panel on top. And finally I stuck a tooth on each window, and attached the three fairies and my sentiment on top of the flaps.

Isabel Cristina Stamps - Baked with Love Double Slider Surprise Card

 Hey there

Today I take you to the cutest bakery to meet some little guys that are baking (and eating) some cupcakes and desserts.

I mostly used the brand new Baked with love digital stamp set designed by Isabel Cristina Stamps, but I also added a few accessories from Christmas baking that was released in 2019.

As always I started by printing the images on 80lbs Neenah solar white cardstock using my Epson xp225 printer, I cut them all using my Scan 'n Cut and colored everything using my alcohol markers.

Once everything was colored, I moved on to the interactive part using the double slider surprise die set by Lawn Fawn. I had printed my sentiment on the same page as my images so I used the pocket die to cut a panel with that sentiment in the top center as well as a plain white panel.

I folded the thin tabs and used a bone folder to get a very crisp fold, and applied strong double sided tape on those tabs.

And I wanted my bakery to have cute brick walls, so I started by masking the bottom part of the panel, almost half an inch, placed a brick stencil on top and applied spun sugar distress ink all over the paper to create a pink wall. And a little bit of texture on that wall: I mixed some spun sugar and worn lipstick distress inks with water and used a small brush to create splatters on the bricks.

Next I protected the wall with washi tape and used hickory smoke distress ink to add some shadows to what would become the counter.

Next I used the notch die to create notches on both ends of each pocket panel. And then I cut two small panels and create the same walls and counters using the exact same supplies as before.

Next I cut the track piece and built the whole interactive element, and I invite you to watch the video below to see how it was done ^^ It's always easier to understand with images then words.

When it was done, the next step was to stick all the images using liquid glue. Next I cut and glued handles on both ends of my interactive panel, I layered two pattern paper panels on a dark pink card base, and finally attached on top of it my double slider surprise panel using foam tape.

Isabel Cristina Stamps - Shop Till You Drop Magic Iris Card

 Hi there,

It's been a while since my last Isabel Cristina Stamps so I'm super happy to share this new magic iris card showcasing the new Shop till you drop digital stamp set

I started by printing all my images on 80lbs Neenah solar white cardstock. I cut them all using my Scan 'n Cut machine and as always I used my alcohol markers to color everything.

When it was done, I cut a panel using the Magic Iris add-on by Lawn fawn as well as the arrow handle, I kept everything together using washi tape at the back of the panel, and then created a brick wall using a brick stencil along with dried marigold. And I used frayed burlap distress ink for the ground.

I cut my sentiment using the same die as the background so that the circle could fit perfectly in the middle of my brick panel, I colored that circle using the same light grey marker as the one I used on the iPad image, and to create an opening in that image, I used a small rectangle die that I used twice in order to cut the entire screen of the iPad.

Next I created the magic iris using the Magic Iris die set by Lawn Fawn, and I invite you to check the video below to see the whole process, it's easier to understand the process.

When all the magic iris process was done, I glued a pink arrow on the handle, and next I attached all my images using a combination of liquid glue, glue dots and foam squares. Finally I added white highlights on the images using a white gel pen

Isabel Cristina Stamps - Fairies & Mushrooms Slimline Card

Hello there,

Today I'm showcasing the lovely Fairies and Mushrooms digital stamp set designed by Isabel Cristina Stamps. This set includes the cutest mushrooms ever!

I started by printing and cutting the images, and I colored them using my alcohol markers like always.

When the coloring was done, I cut a slimline panel out of strathmore bristol cardstock and picked some distress inks to create a very bright fall background: squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, ripe persimmon and fried brick. Once I was happy with the blending, I splattered water all over the panel that I dried using a paper towel. Next I brought sparkles to the background by splattering liquid stardust everywhere. And finally I added more texture by splattering spiced marmalade and fried brick distress ink mixed with water.

I wanted to give my cute mushrooms a home so I cut some elements to build a mushroom house. The paper is strathmore bristol cardstock again and I used distress inks to colors all the elements.

When the house elements were colored, I assembled everything, and finally attached the mushroom house and the images on my slimline panel using foam tape. I cut the doorknob out of gold cardstock and glued it in the middle of the door. And next I attached my sentiment. And to add a last magical detail, I added morning dew nuvo drops here and there.

Simon Says Stamp + Isabel Cristina Stamps - A Magical Flippin Awesome Card

Hey there,

Today's card is very special because the cute Unicorn Love stamp set I used on this card was designed by Isabel Cristina Stamps and it is now available at Simon Says Stamp as a clear stamp set! How exciting!

I first cut the images using my Scan 'n Cut machine and then I colored everything using my alcohol markers. When it was done, I added clear shimmer to the rainbow and unicorns mane, and also some white dots using a gel pen in order emphasize the sparkly effect.

For the background, I cut a 5,5 x 4,25" panel and covered it with blueprint sketch oxide ink to get a nice and even base. Next I added chipped sapphire at the top and edges, and also a little bit of black soot oxide ink on the edges to make the sky even darker.

Next I added texture: water drops + liquid stardust + drops of black soot mixed with water.

I cut a flippin panel, as well as four squares and colored those elements using blueprint sketch oxide ink + same textures.

Next I folded the lines and tabs on the flippin panel using a bone folder. I attached the four squares, as well as cloud borders.

I stuck my flippin element on the night sky panel. And next I created my sentiment. I white heat embossed the first part 'Hope your day is' using the Unicorn Tales by Hello Bluebird. And for the second part, I cut the word 'magical' using the Harold's ABCs die set by Lawn Fawn. I used white cardstock to cut those letters and I stuck them as a base. And I cut the letters again using a yellow glitter cardstock and I attached those letters on top of the first ones.

Next I finally attached the unicorns, one on each flap, using glue dots. I stuck the arrow handle at the end of the flippin element, and I stuck my panel on a blue card base. And finally I added a few morning dew drops here and there to bring more shine to the sky.

Isabel Cristina Stamps - Mission to Mars Pop-Up Card

Hi there,

Today's card features a new set designed by Isabel Cristina Stamps. It's called Space bunnies and contains a bunch of cute planets and funny bunnies ready to conquer the universe!

I started by printing most of the images. I printed them on 80lbs neenah solar white cardstock, cut them all using my scan n cut and colored everything using my alcohol markers.

When the coloring was done, I cut a 5,5 x 4,25" panel and colored it using some oxide inks: blueprint sketch, chipped sapphire and black soot. Once the ink blending was done, I created texture: first some water drops to bring brightness, and next I used the liquid stardust to create a million shiny stars. And finally I added a touch of darkness by splattering drops of black soot distress ink mixed with water.

When my panel was dry, I used stitched circle dies to create lines on my galaxy background. I placed those dies right in the center on the panel and sent everything to my die cutting machine.

For the inside of my card, I cut another 5,5 x 4,25" panel and used scattered straw, dried marigold, spiced marmalade and vintage photo distress inks. Next I splattered water drops on my panel and used the same inks mixed with water to create more texture and contrast.

Next I cut a dark brown card base and attached both of my panels: the solar system one one on the outside and the planet Mars one on the inside.

To ground my scene on Mars, I cut a hillside pop-up border that I colored using vintage photo distress ink. I covered the entire element and next I used the same ink mixed with water to add a sand and rock texture to that border.

Next I attached that pop-up border inside the card, and then I stuck all the images: the planets on the outside and the bunnies + spaceship on the inside.

For my sentiment, I first white heat embossed the words 'I love you to' and 'and back' on the remaining space I had inside the card and I cut the word Mars out of a shiny orange cardstock using the Rascal Alphabetters die set by Heffy Doodle. And I attached those letters using glue dots.

Finally I came back to the outside panel and added more sparkles to it by applying white blizzard nuvo drops here and there.
